Can't understand the 'Hate' it's better and easier than W7.
Most people can see past the eye-candy and see Windows 10 for what it is -- a cumbersome, unconfigurable, bloated OS, with a horrendous UI and major privacy concerns.
What I can't understand is why you seem to take it all so personally! You've peppered the forum with "Why does no one love poor little Windows 10?" posts. Aren't you getting bored yet?!
Very few people see their choice of operating system as representing a tribalistic identity. Most people don't need the sense of belonging and social acceptance that you crave when you repeatedly advertise your support for a particular brand of software.0 -

I don't take it personally, this is a discussion and help forum, if you don't like any of it you can always go and whine elsewhere, instead of staying and taking it personally...
No, I'm not getting bored, so best you get used to it.
Anyway, do you actually have anything to add to the discussion, or, are you just that attention seeking being you seem to despise?Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Windows 7 was and is, in my opinion, perfectly adequate, well-supported and very easy to use. It didn't lose my ethernet connection daily, like Windows 10 seems to. Anyone have any idea why that might be?0

Also, I had a problem with a WiFi connection that wouldn't hold, on a fresh Windows 10 installation, and I re-installed Windows 10 *again* over the top of itself and it seemed to make it much better. I'd already backed up all my files elsewhere so when I re-installed, which meant I could use the option to 'Keep Nothing' from the Setup program.0 -
Do you have a problem?

I tend to think the hate some have with MS is the difference between wanting Win10 or being told to have it.
I dont have 10, disabled all updates from MS as a result of their pushiness, as well as those accidental updates they rolled when they accidentally turned the upgrade into a critical update.
I still have XP as a partition, as well as 7 Ultimate, however I also have a Chromebook, Android and Linux on my other devices. I have no doubts in time win7 will become as obsolete as my partitioned XP, even if I still use them occasionally.
This push with MS 10, tipped me over the edge enough to buy a Mac. Never did I think I would go with a Mac, even after MS pushed me from XP to Win7, the way they went about it with 10 was just the straw that broke the camels back for me.
Whether you hate the idea some of us dinosaurs are happy and comfortable using 7 or XP is really irrelevant, I dont hate you for having 10, its your choice, just as any other OS is anyone else's choice.
You can call it whining if it makes you feel better, you can even dredge the very scum from the bottom of the barrel by calling it attention seeking (pot and kettle comes to mind) but you cannot dictate what people post on an open and public forum, just because you don't agree with them.
Some people have 10, some have 7, some have XP, some have Apple and some have Android. I would not hold it against them or ridicule them for it.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Ha ha ha! Stop taking it so personally!
So... Anything to add to the discussion? Or just another one-liner about how wonderful Windows 10 is? Go on, you know you can't resist.0 -
Meh, that explains your previous post of "hate". It seems some "hate" the fact that a majority of people have not or will not upgrade to 10.

I guess it makes you feel big. I couldn't care less if you have W10 or not.

Keep it up RR, even Bernie Madoff was entitled to a defence, you seem to have chosen a difficult case as wellScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0
