    I could ask my cat to give him farting lessons........talk about 'silent but deadly'! he sleeps on the sofa back just behind me and I never hear him fart - the first you know about it is the horrendous stink!

    Oh yes, cats and dogs do crack off some stinky ones. :rotfl:

    Tell you what was funny. The other week, me and my lady wife were walking around the village, and we spotted 2 horses in a field. We stopped to make a fuss of them and give them a bit of grass. Well, one of them farted, and it rattled on for about 13-15 seconds, I kid you not! Me and my wife were in hysterics. :rotfl:

    The awful thing was though, that the other horse was behind him. Poor thing. :(

    Has anyone ever heard a horse do a fart? They're massive! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:

    What about farting in front of a new partners parents.
    That;s got to be worse.

    You can start farting as soon as you stop respecting them more or less

    I wouldn't fart in the presence of anyone f I could help it, I just don't think like it. I don't like it when people do it, so I won't do it to them - intentionally anyway! Sometimes it happens though, and you just can't help it. That's entirely forgivable!

    At a previous job once, I was asked to move some files from the room by my boss. I bent over, lifted the boxes, and just let rip. :rotfl: I was mortified, but with the awkwardness and the nerves and the shock, I cracked up laughing so much - and so did my boss - that it just ended up being about the funniest thing that ever happened in that office. :D

    When we decided to marry, many years ago we wanted to marry in the catholic church, my husband at that time was a regular churchgoer, I was coe and lapsed many moons previously.
    This meant we had to go for lessons led by the priest. He actually asked us if we were on farting terms.
    We were and still are.

    Took me 10 months to pump in front of my partner..... Well, I was asleep.... So wasn't intentional! I was mortified!

    But now we're much closer & we both find it genuinely funny & giggle like kids when either of us do it!

    In regard to the post about being disrespectful...:rotfl:

    We're All human, we all pump, fart, belch & trump! Even the queen does!!

    There's a huge different between a trump at home with your partner & intentionally stinking a public place out! :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Surely the question should be how long before I can fart in front of my partner and hold the duvet over his/her head ??
