Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
    Today I am grateful for
    1. My kind friend coming for the morning to help out.
    2. My son's efforts to keep DD happy when she cries. Silly dancing, face making and funny noises all ticked off :)
    3. Managing to do the basics at home.
    4. Noticing the daffodils, squirrels and birds that all signal spring on my walk today.

Apple - I still remember doing my brownie promise! I'd forgotten about it till you wrote that. I remember it being a massive deal to me at the time. I was in Pixies :) hope DD really enjoys being 'official'

  • Spend day today as we have had Chinese for tea to celebrate our anniversary (I know it's sad but we only have takeaway on special occasions).

    Today I am grateful for:
    1. My head cold has nearly cleared up and this morning was the first morning for 5 days that I felt vaguely normal.
    2. A lovely anniversary card from DH
    3. Chinese for tea (I didn't have to cook tonight)
    4. A warm bath and an early night

Hugs for Calling, fmess, crazy cat lady and anyone else who wants one.

I am back on my feet - well for a bit. had to rest after lunch and fell asleep, stirred and tried to get up again a couple of times but finally awaoke when it was dark (6.30 pm).

However I have done 2 loads of washing (put outside but didn't get back to hanging them up), 2 lots of washing up including most of the cutlery drawer, put clean pots away, done newspaper cuttings, cut a sheet into rags and put them in a bag, gathered up pizza boxes, paper recycling (culled recipes as the file got wet), plastics recycling, gathered more pots from all corners of the house, filled a large rubbish sack and put the bins out. (Basically rounded up all categories of rubbish and got them out of the house)

Hoping to do more tomorrow but will continue to rest when I need it (getting up the stairs got very tough later on).

Today I am grateful for lovely weather

for being able to have the back door open (house still needs cleaning but fresh air is helping)

For getting the bathmats done (one of the things making the house smell 'stale')

For feeling hungry (have been eating 'dutifully' ie I knew I had to have something and have taken food to help with various pills). Only had soup which was very good (but out of a tin - were on offer and I bought some as a precaution, so glad. Tinned soup tastes like childhood and feels like being looked after).

For having a bath. Wasn't sure if benefits outweighed the difficulty of getting in and out, but so worth it. Warmth seeped into my bones - now fully loaded with antiseptic cream, hand cream (hands and feet), moisturiser and vix.

Today 've been sorting, washing, drying in the beautiful sunny garden, for my friend. We condensed 'some' of his clothes.:)
Nothing wasted. A pile to keep, a pile to sell and a pile to the charity shop!
I managed to fit in my daily 3mile walk via the charity shop to drop off the clothes.
I then spent about 2hours rearranging my household budget and planning my debt reduction, into a new binder. :D
. It's a photo album that I have never used. Two hours later I was up to date with my budget and more focused on my short and long term goals! :T

    · I'm grateful for the beautiful sunny day and long refreshing walk today.
    · I'm grateful being able to help my friends life a bit more un-cluttered.
    · I'm grateful for my lovely family!
    · I'm grateful for the yummy cottage pie I had for dinner! :j

Pay day Friday so I will be doing all my March budgets and debt repayments etc. I haven't been able to pay any extra to the debt this month due to too many other things needing paying for, hopefully I will be able to do in March.

Doing the last grocery shop from this months budget tonight, I think we only have £65 ish left but we should be OK. Put £5 petrol in my car this morning which has taken us just under £3 over budget but that is because I have been using to get to work and that wasn't budgeted for.
