Spent money today on sweets (for my throat), a loaf of bread and sliced meat to put on it for times when i can't think what to cook.
Today I am grateful for my head and nose feeling 'improved' (chest is pulling and can barely talk - voice keeps disappearing)
For DS3 possibly taking me to the doctor's tomorrow - he has come out in a rash, so I have said we can get a taxi if we can get up in time (taxi each way is cheaper than 2 bus fares)
For lovely lamb for dinner (cooked, sliced and frozen before Christmas), veg were less successful but may be down to my taste buds, some things taste very strong or just wrong
Crocuses outside the library and Church, hadn't noticed them before today and they are all coming out.

Today I am grateful for the array of blessings I receive!:A
For my health, family and friends.
For being in a position to choose my lifestyle.
For having the opportunity to always learn from others and that knowledge is power, and its up to us what we do with that knowledge....hopefully to help others!
I went shopping for a friend and managed to save him £3.49. I would have had a NSD but I spotted a pen with a certain nib that I wanted so bought it :money:
I went for a carvery for lunch.....a treat from a friend. It was yummy! :cool:Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Wonderful. Have you been up Porlock hill yet? It's on the way to Minehead. It's ridiculously steep and hair pin. As kids we used to love the adventure of making it to the top in the car and then seeing the views.
Also highly recommend a visit to Watersmeet in Lynmouth it's a beautiful national Trust landscape where two rivers meet." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I am only doing a few hours today then start properly tomorrow - I think I had some sort of anxiety attack yesterday as I felt really ill and even told DH I wasn't going today. This is very unusual for me.
XSpender - it must be hard to stick with a good diet when you are travelling, my DH is on the road all day for work and finds his packed lunches a difficult thing to get right - they need to be filling, transportable, cold and reasonably healthy.
CCL - hope you get back into the swing of work, sometimes having time off just makes everything seem worse but when you are back it's usually not as bad as you thought.
DS has gone back to school today, he wasn't happy as DD is having an inset day and was still lounging around in pj's when we left. She was dressed when I got back though which is a miracle. I am having to leave her on her own this afternoon, she has her phone and the door is on the catch so it's locked but she can easily get out if needed plus I am only 2 miles away and will be back at 3.30 p.m. It is still adding to my stress though.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Well looking like another SFD basically stayed in office at lunchtime so didn't got and get watch battery, milk I needed, make do until tomorrow. On school run duties after work so won't have time.
SFD 13 not sure what we were aiming for was it 15 or 16?
Haven't planned tea tonight, collected gs just thrown on me now. So just see what I can find in my cupboards.
Bit stressed out today trying to work out how I can pay cc2 1197.00 off by 1st May bit of a tall order to say the least. Been offered extra one off job 50 cash in my hand so hopefully that will come off in the week.
Got a bit of an upset tummy today so really hope gs is in a good mood.
Annoyed nice weather here today and I am in work and its been awful all weekend.

I managed to get out for a walk in the lovely weather. Clears the cobwebs!:T
I'm happy I dried my washing outside, as it always smells so fresh when I do.:D
NSD and I'm having dinner at my friends this evening. I'm bringing the mixed roast veg my sister gave me the other day, so that's my contribution!
I will be helping my friend sort through the mountains of clothes this evening. Probably will be donating most to the chazza shop or save for the carboot!:jLiving a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

First day of my new job under my belt. All has gone well, DD hasn't choked to death or burnt the house down which is a bonus, I have done a lot of talking and eating - always good in my book. I am now changed into my running gear and am going to brave a run when I've cleaned up the kitchen.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
