Mistara you on a roll. Congratulations

CCL. How annoying can't you find someone else to holiday with?

Mothernerd hope you are feeling better.

Lazy day today, made a tea party lunch for dd and gs.

Another Sfd in the bag. Had my heating on however a lot today as gs still not 100%.

Got £5 voucher from surveys for m & s saving them up for a meal deal. Also got £4.86 back from Quidco all helps.

Tog. Jealous of yr fish pie had a bought one from sainsbobs in. First mouthful full of bones and not that nice. Made better and will in future. Teach me to be lazy.

    Grateful for
    Snuggles with gs today.
Using old curtains in spare room look ace.
Nice walk with my old doggie mates
Nice glass of wine and chilling.

  • I have to be honest re the holiday Calling - I'm genuinely not that bothered about it. It was going to be our last year as the kids are starting to get a bit too old to enjoy the holiday park thing. I just would like to get some of my money back if possible. Doesn't seem much point going if we aren't going to enjoy it.
It's been a strange day today - my friend (same one I saw yesterday) has been ill for a few weeks with sinusitis and hasn't been able to shake it. She was admitted to hospital this morning because her white blood cell count is scarily low. I have been looking after her ds all day while her husband was at work, then while he went in to hospital with her. Hopefully we should know more tomorrow.
Bagged a nsd - and as I said before I am grateful for my own good health.

Unexpected spend day - bought 3 new dresses! However they were all cheap, range from suitable for everyday to suitable for my "something new" ;) Plus my temping work money will come in on Monday. I also went to lunch but my sister paid.

    Today I am grateful for:-
    - my sister's generosity
    - starting to love body (who cares what size and shape I am!)
    - chocolate
    - finishing marking my coursework

Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, been really busy at work. Some good news today - I got confirmation that my secondment is being made permanent :D A spend day as I went out for a drink after work to celebrate. Got home to discover a letter from the bank saying that they've reviewed my PPI claim from 2014 and decided that they didn't give me enough money back so £319.62 will be paid to me in the next 28 days :T

Congratulations MissTara on both counts :)

I feel like I have been trapped in the house all day and not achieved much at all. Feeling a bit down in the dumps really. I did achieve another NSD though.

Today I am grateful for phone calls to/from my Dad and brother last night, DS making progress in his swimming lesson, not giving in to a takeaway that would have blown my budget and enjoying a healthy home cooked meal instead, earl grey tea and DS re-discovering a toy from Christmas 2014 and having lots of fun with it.
