That's too bad, unfortunately Three are removing it from everyone whether they upgrade or not. There is no choice in the matter as far as Three are concerned, you can accept the new price plan or leave.====0 -
I'm considering writing to offcom not sure it will achieve anything.
Some of my friends are on the FlexT package that was offered by T Mobile before they were EE. This tariff gave you money towards calls and texts and you could add separate Bolt Ons that stopped your money being eaten up by Calls to other T Mobile customers and or landlines. If customers didn't cancel they could keep the plan.
I think this may open the flood gates and cause other networks to move their customers from an old plan to a newer plan.
I don't think there should get the go ahead to buy O2 as less networks will mean a lot less competition, hope the powers that be at the completions comitee are taking note of the unfair practices that may be when Three make our Mobile industry Three (excuse the pun)
I'm so angry with three for doing this, was so proud of my tariff0 -

You need to remember that the contract you signed is 2 way, you signed up for xx months and promised to stick to the contract and then give 30 days to terminate, the same holds for Three. They promised to maintain the deal for the term of the contract and also have the right to terminate with 30 days notice.
It's a business decision that won't be interfered with by OFCOM or the ombudsman. I voted with my wallet and moved to EE, it might not be unlimited but it's a quicker more robust service (and as you pointed out, when it was still T-Mobile they allowed all the old plans to continue running, and still do, I think).
Three's conduct stinks, but it isn't something anyone can force them to stop doing.====0 -
Exactly the same as you stated....
Unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 4gb of data with tethering.
He went on and on about what tariff he might be able to offer me without mentioning an actual price and I was just waiting for him to say £18 or maybe £15 when he came out with £12. I had told him that I had found a good tariff on the new carphonewarehouse network (idmobile, which runs on 3) for £10/month which included 4gb data.
Like everyone else I was furious and disappointed to receive the notification letter from 3 cancelling the “One Plan”.
When I phoned 3 initially I was offered unlimited minutes and texts plus 4 GB of Data for £15 p/m on a monthly rolling contract which I refused, then they offered me it for £14 p/m on a 12 month contract which I refused. (According to 3 I've never used any more than 1.5 GB of Data in any one month throughout 2015, so 4 GB is fine for me).
Since reading keith1950 post I've phoned 3 again told them I would stay with them if they offered me unlimited minutes and texts plus 4 GB of Data for £12 p/m on a 12 month contract which they agreed to.
I understand that this deal wont suit those who use anymore than 4 GB of Data per month but for if you use a lot of minutes as I do and under 4 GB of Data also getting free minutes and texts when on holiday (albeit very restricted internet speed) it might suit some people.0 -
Aha...
Just got off the phone to 3 - and it seems like a success story.
I have just agreed to the following:
AYCE minutes
AYCE texts
AYCE data (12gb tethering limit)
Free calls to 0800 numbers etc
£20 / month for a 12 month sim only plan.0 -

I don't use that many minutes and didn't want a 12 month tie in so when with the following -
£17 per 1 month rolling (still keep my original minimum term date) that includes:
600 voice minutes + 2000 3 to 3 minutes + free 08 numbers
AYCE texts
AYCE data (12gb tethering allowance)0 -

How did you get this for £17 per month?0
