If anyone is actually going to pay those prices for their gas they needs their heads looking at. V18 is expensive ! Way more expensive than the new EDF tariff.

I'm currently on the E.ON MSE Fixed 1 Collective Sept 2015 and this one is slightly cheaper....is it still free to switch between Eon products without incurring exit fees?

    Hi d70cw6

Yes, there's no exit fees for switching between any E.ON products. You can do this straightaway or forward switch up to 52 days in the future. Details of the new tariff are on our website and the independent price comparison sites. It'll also start to appear on bills, statements and Annual Summaries.

As you're on a Collective tariff, you won't receive a Price Alert. This is because Collectives are standalone tariffs and no new versions are released.

    Hope this helps d70cw6.

    Its the v18.

Electricity prices seem to have been cut as well but for me my collective EON iChooser/UK Power tariff remains cheaper.

    Hi gt94sss2

As above in reply to onzey, today's announcement of a reduction in our standard prices from 1 February 16 only applies to the gas. Our standard electricity prices aren't affected. We've not seen the same falls in costs for electricity as we have for gas and many of the other costs we don't control have or may increase.

Our new fixed term tariffs, though, may have lower electricity prices than some of our past tariffs and are generally lower than our standard electricity prices.

As I mentioned above to d70cw6, as you're on a Collective tariff, you won't receive a Price Alert. This is because Collectives are standalone tariffs and no new versions are released.

    Hope this explains gt94sss2.

Glad the switch went smoothly SirFreddy. :)

Don't know if I've mentioned this to you before but if you sign up for our online 'Price Alerts' service we'll email you if any future versions of this tariff are released.

    Sorry if I'm repeating myself.

That's right Spooky_uk. Our new version 18 tariff has exit fees of £30 per fuel for changing supplier before the renewal window (open 49 calendar days before the tariff ends until 20 days after).

The other tariffs we released today, 2 Year Fix (version 8) and the Age UK 2 Year Fix (version 6), still have no exit fees. Also, exit fees don't apply when moving from one E.ON product to another.

.....and the new EDF tariff is probably going to be way more expensive than Zog Energy or Better Energy once the market catches up and levels out over the next few days.

I think it's probably sensible to hang fire for a week or so until the dust settles a bit. :rotfl:

Glad you've switched okay skinnylove. Now you've moved on to one of our Fixed Price products rather than a Collective, you can sign up for our online 'Price Alerts' service if you wish. With this service, we'll email when there's any future versions of the tariff available.

Hope this is of interest skinnylove.
