I tried to get a quote using e.on's online tool but they do not show my supplier Dallas.
Hi MABLE
Sorry you've had difficulties sorting out an online quote. To be honest, I've not come across Dallas before. I suspect their details aren't logged in our quote tool. This will stop an online quote. Probably best to phone our sales team to see if they can do a manual quote. It'll speed things up if you've your current supplier's details handy along with your address/usage. Maybe try an independent comparison site too.
Sorry I can't be more helpful here MABLE.

Know what you mean Feral Moon.
Don't have an end date for version 19 yet and it could be withdrawn at any time. I'll update this thread once I know more. If you're on our Fixed 1 Year product and have signed up for Price Alerts, we'll email you if a new version is released. Once a new version is out, Price Alerts are sent in batches over a few days so may not be received straightaway. Generally, details hit our website and the independent price comparison sites first. There'll also be messages on bills/statements and Annual Summaries.
Hope this is of interest.
MalcI know what you mean d70cw.
As I posted to Feral Moon above, I don't have an end date for version 19 yet and it could be withdrawn at any time. I'll update this thread once I know more. If you've signed up for Price Alerts, we'll email you if a new version is released.
Similarly to what I've mentioned above, once a new version is out, Price Alerts are sent in batches over a few days so may not be received straightaway. Generally, details hit our website and the independent price comparison sites first. There'll also be messages on bills/statements and Annual Summaries. If you have opted for Price Alerts, you'll be receiving an email about version 19 even though you've already switched. You may also receive one for version 18. It depends what tariff you were on before switching to 18. Customers on Collective Tariffs don't receive Price Alerts as these tariffs are one offs and future versions won't be available.
Hope this is of interest d70cw.
MalcIt has been a bit of a roller coaster recently Meadows. As above, I don't have an end date for version 19 yet but will pop it on here once I do. Also, if you've signed up for Price Alerts, we'll email you if a new version is released.
As you've gone from 17 to 18 to 19, you'll be receiving more than one Price Alert. As I mentioned to d70cw, Price Alerts are sent a few days after a new tariff has been released. For more immediate information, best to keep an eye on our website and the independent comparison sites as, generally, this is where they appear first.
Sorry for the deluge of emails Meadows but I hope this explains.

Morning All
As promised, just letting you know that our Fixed 1 Year version 19 tariff ends at midnight tonight (4 February 16). It's being replaced with version 20. Details of the new tariff will be on our website and the independent comparison sites after this time.
Customers currently on our fixed term tariffs who have signed up for Price Alerts will receive an email letting them know all about the new tariff.
Hope this helps.

Quick update all. Things have changed and we've extended the end date for our Fixed 1 Year version 19 tariff until Monday, 8 February 16.
The new version 20 tariff will be available from Tuesday, 9 February 16. Details will be available on our website and the independent comparison sites at this time.
Customers currently on our fixed term tariffs who have signed up for Price Alerts will receive an email letting them know all about the new tariff.
I'll update the other threads where I promised to let customers know about the end of version 19 too. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes d70cw6, version 20 of our Fixed 1 Year tariff is more expensive than version 19. This is for both the dual fuel and the electricity only tariffs. Although there are certain regional variations, version 20 is more expensive than 19 in all areas.
Not sure if you already know but you can sign up for our online Price Alert service. Here, we email customers on our fixed price deals to let them know about any future versions of the tariff. We're looking at our tariffs all the time as costs are continually changing. Alerts are one way of keeping in touch with what's happening. Although a better way is through our website and the independent comparison sites. Any new tariffs we release will appear on these sites first. Price Alerts don't work with collective tariffs though. These are one off standalone deals and no new versions will be released.
You can also move from one E.ON tariff to another at any time without picking up an exit fee. This does include collective tariffs.
Sorry if I'm trying to teach you how to suck eggs d70cw6 but hope this is of interest.

Hi ex-dmp
Looks like they're your Tariff Comparison Rates (TCR). These are a bit different from the unit rates d70cw6 has posted. TCRs are based on how you pay, daily standing charges, discounts and VAT. It's best to use them as a guide as they're based on Ofgem's average usage figures and not your own actual usage. For a more accurate picture, I'd pop your usage in kWh on to one of the independent comparison sites.
Just to confirm, as above (post 100), version 20 of our Fixed 1 Year tariff is more expensive than version 19. This is the case in all regions and for both the dual fuel and electric only tariffs.
Hope this is of interest ex-dmp.
