I’ve done a little research on bullet journals and been playing with my new notebooks.....it’s scary how much some writing books cost:eek:
However I’m more than happy with my books at £1.50 each I’ve got some of my craft stuff down and am enthusiastic....might need more than this to keep me on track with sw though:rotfl:
Today started well with sw breakfast in bed and then a lovely walk - a couple of miles through local(ish) park with a riverside walk. Then we stopped for a sit down and cuppa before heading back - 4 miles in total:D I’d half planned what we were having for tea when dh decided today would be a good day to use some of the restaurant vouchers he had bought him for his birthday....so I ate out again. It was lovely and didn’t cost us a penny :money::T .....but I’m sure a 3 course meal and large wine clocked up more than my 15 syn allowance :rotfl::rotfl: it was worth every syn and I’ll try extra hard after my weekend which was ‘naughty but nice’......there is still enough to have another meal from the early evening menu on his gift voucher so I’ll be out again soon.
My total spends for my February so far is around £150.... I probably didn’t need to spend the fiver I spent today on teas but I needed a sit down before walking back through the park. Been a bit frivolous so far this month and i break up for half term next week so just need to keep my eye on the ball. But all is well and every penny was well spentJanuary spends - £587.580 -

I had some sad news about a close friend on Friday. We used to go away in caravans with these friends when children were tiny, he was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year but is still in the early stages. Anyway he had a massive stroke on Friday and has lost the use of 1 side and his speech. There’s nothing I can do at present as only family are allowed to visit but as soon as I can I’ll go and see him and do what I can to help my friend - his wife of over 40 years. His daughter is keeping me posted. Think that is why dh decided to go out today - we needed to keep busy.
Juts shows we need to make every moment count. He took an early retirement and spent his time doing things he enjoys on a shoestring - I’m so glad he did as you never know the minute.....January spends - £587.580 -
I'm so sorry to read about your friend milann. How sad for him and his family. I do hope he manages to improve and get some feeling back. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thank you SSG - I’m really torn as to what I want to happen to him after nursing my mum after a similar stroke....that coupled his dementia- I’m not sure what would be kindest as he was always on the go and ‘the organiser’ I do know he will hate it if he can’t do anything.....
Life can be so cruelI’m hanging on to some sort of miracle cure atm but I’m not holding my breath.

If you've had a vibrant, active life, I think that disabling strokes and dementia are some of the worst form of illnesses. I quite understand how you must be feeling. Fingers crossed for a substantial improvement for your poor friend.
