Thank you Beanie - MSE wanted my password which I’d forgotten....I eventually found it so have a lot to catch up on.

Life is plodding along as usual....I’ve had a few spendy days but some of it was vouchers. I’ve not got much planned over half term except a visit to my brothers tomorrow.

I had a day at the big shopping mall near me last week and spent some vouchers I’d bought last year which were about to expire. I bought a dress and a top - both look hideously tight but the bigger size were much too big on the shoulders. I will fit into them by summer - the alternative is to go topless :eek: which is not a good look. My top shelf from a couple of years ago are looking really tatty.

So I’ve been really good food wise and I’ve been filling my journal every day since. Just need to keep at it longer than 2 days...

I bought a few plants yesterday...I need to get them out in my pots but can’t motivate myself.

My friend is pretty much the same - I’ve spoken to his wife several times, he sounds in a pretty bad way. Another friend from work had brain surgery for a tumour yesterday - everyone is falling apart around me.

Off to do some catching up :D

Glad you got to spend the vouchers in time , the clothes are an incentive to be in them by summer. The notebooks are being well used.! .Sorry to hear your friend is not so well I hope he improves soon. Also about your friend from work, it's all bad news .

Enjoy the visit to your brother .

    Thanks CL.
Friend from work is doing amazingly well considering she only had her op yesterday.....she posted a piccy to me - she’s going to have some impressive bruising...I never expected he to be able to do much today let alone sit up and text

I’ve paid my cc in full again today :D

I’ve decided I’m going to buy some gift vouchers to save up for when I fit into my new top and buy some more to go with it.

Well done on the CC payment. I will help you spend your vouchers at the big shopping centre . The tram shouldn't be much longer before it opens to there.

  • Great to have vouchers to spend. :). And way to go on the food too!

I'm sorry to hear your friend hasn't improved but how wonderful that your other pal is taking piccies the day after an op like that!

That would be great CL - could be a while though :rotfl::rotfl: I want to lose a stone and a half first - which is what I’ve gained since I had the spinal bleed..... I’ve noticed the big supermarkets sell vouchers so I’m going to buy a next one or somewhere else that does a petite range.

I’ve paid £70 since October when I rejoined SW.....to stay exactly the same weight  it’s all my own fault.....good meals then snacking on carp. So I’m going for it big time - I’ve been little miss perfect since Sunday....but..... I’m not mentioning the meals I had out at weekend:o
