Wooohoooo I now have a clean kitchen window and window ledge. I’ve cleaned the hob, extractor fan and worktops. Dh is great but never thinks to move things to clean under or behind them, he wipes the hob but wouldn’t even think to clean the gas jets 😏😂 I’ve cleaned the cupboard under the sink and plan to do a cupboard a day as they aren’t too bad. It looks a lot brighter in there now. It wasn’t too bad but was bugging me. I’ll finish everything else tomorrow. I’d have done the whole room not long ago 🙄
Not a penny has left my purse.😂😂😂In a strop about people in London get their free bus passes at 60 and the rest of the country at pensionable age….I’ve written to our local mayor - who is making a big thing about levelling up and reviewing a clean air act - asking why London is different to my home town. Don’t expect an answer but I felt better 😂😂😂January spends - £587.583 -

😂😂take no notice Beanie……does me good to have a vent every now and again 😉I was going to sort the stuff from my wardrobes that I’ve dumped in the spare room and take it to the charity shop, but a charity bag came through the door this morning. Good timing…..so I’ll put everything in that and leave it out on Friday 😀 saves me a trip 👍I want to tidy up everywhere today, it’s only surface stuff so if I shape myself I should get it done…..but only if I put my backside into gear. I will need to nip out for bread and milk as I didn’t move out yesterday.January spends - £587.584

I'm cross too about no state pension or free bus pass until I'm 67 as I'm 58 now so will have a long wait 😡.
Well done on the kitchen cleaning 👏. I hope it isn't too hot where you are. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I went out with some of my old work colleagues yesterday. Got to admit I was a little wary and very slightly miffed I hadn’t heard from these particular people since I went off sick. I gave myself a talking to and reminded myself they had got in touch now - so embrace it - life is too short for grudges 😁 We picked up exactly where we left off and I had a lovely time. I decided to drive as I know these friends are pretty hard core when it comes to pitchers of cocktails 🍹 and it was 2nd meal out since my last weigh in. It was a lovely Greek meal not an afternoon tea and I kept to Diet Coke and coffee 😇
I weighed in this morning and I’ve stayed the same…..considering it’s been a celebratory week with my wedding anniversary in it - I’ll take that with bells on 😀 but that’s the 2nd week on the run and I want to loose something next week 😉
Todays task is trying to keep cool….so far I’m not succeeding at all.I had a rubbish nights sleep. I was still wide awake at 3.30. Not sure if it was the heat or all the Diet Coke I’d drank yesterday.January spends - £587.585 -
It's nice to meet up with friends and maybe they hadn't realised how much time had passed since they contacted you. I'm glad you enjoyed the evening 😊.
Diet coke is full of caffeine so that probably didn't help you sleep. I try to avoid it and other caffeine after 6pm.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
