Still so far so good after the infusion. Got a strange achey/hungry feeling in my tummy but that often happens so don’t think it’s related. What surprised me yesterday was the nurses were saying they had very few needles and were begging and stealing from other wards. Apparently there isn’t a butterfly needle anywhere in the hospital and when they try to order they’re told there’s a world wide shortage. You just always assume these things are there 😳😳January spends - £587.580

Had a lovely time meeting friend and supping tea yesterday.☕️😃Everything was fine after the infusion 😃Dh met me when we’d finished and we left the shopping mall and travelled across the road to a w’spoons that is a lot quieter than mall. We had tea (My halo is still shining…..stayed totally on plan food wise) then visited sil who lives up the road. I feel very sorry for her but she won’t let anyone help her and doesn’t help herself. Not sure what else we can do to help. Dh gets upset/angry every time we visit. I used to get angry with her but I’m beyond that now….it’s sad to see her like she is. I’m afraid I’ve resigned myself that I can’t help her if she won’t meet us half way and help herself 🙁 It is what it is 😏
I had a text from the NHS portal this morning with a code to type in. Wouldn’t accept it so I phoned up (1/2 hour trying to get through) got an appointment in about 3 weeks to see consultant about my ankle. 🤞fingers crossed it’ll just be an injection he recommends 🤞
Im not sure whether to tackle the wardrobe floor and my bedroom or downstairs today. I want to pay my cc off and do some totals for the end of the month. I’m expecting it to have gone over what I usually spend per month - but it included trips away. Right best get a move on or nothing will get done at all.January spends - £587.581 -
I had a text today from my docs saying I was now eligible for a free health check, just contact the surgery and make an appointment. Which i did and was told there were no available appointments and I would be placed on a waiting list.
My SIL seems to have abandoned us, not had a fall out just think she wants to be by herself. If that’s what she wants then fine with me, but I won’t be messed around.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
Thanks Amber. I’m convinced the admin create some of the problems within the NHS…..one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing.🙄
I was on a roll yesterday and went through cupboards and drawers. It’s not that long since I culled lots of clothes I can’t wear anymore but I’ve got rid of even more.this time. Need to go through dhs stuff with him…..left to his own devices he’d just leave everyhting as it is. 😂😂😂😂😂
I didn’t get around to paying my cc yesterday so that is first on my list to do today 👍January spends - £587.580 -
Mr SA is a terrible hoarder. Do you remember Mr Trebus from the Life of Grime TV programme about 10 years ago - that would be him if I didn’t interfere 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Yup I remember that programme too and Dh would be a definite contender without my meddling, as he calls it 😏😂😂
