Your account problem may be something to do with your security. I have 2 accounts that I have to use no security at all. I don't like it but I can't open a new account even with Nationwide if I have any security in operation.

Amber mine will be 66 when I draw my pension. It just infuriates me that it’s 60 in London….where’s the levelling up in that……. boy I’m on my soapbox a lot this week 😂😂😂….I wouldn’t want them taking them away from London though…👍
SSG….I stayed the same - 3rd week in a row. Better than putting weight on though 👍so no need to resort to the gaffer tape yet 😂😂😂😂😂
Badmemory ……that’s a thought about security. Will get my technical advisor DH on the job. He’s usually pretty good at doing updates it for me though.January spends - £587.580 -

I’ve had a lovely afternoon pottering in the garden. I’ve not been out there for ages as it’s just been too hot for me. I’ve actually lost a lot of plants with the dry weather and being away and not being able to water them.. Dh has been having trouble with his train track not being level and the trains coming to a stand still….it’s a bit like British Rail 😂….. leaves on the track - doesn’t work….uneven gravel underneath - doesn’t work. But he couldn’t find the fault…..it just kept shorting out. I saw the uneven bit straight away this afternoon as I was sitting having a cuppa. As I’m shorter than Dh, it was right in my eyeline so I could see it, whereas he couldn’t. I suggested a simple solution to level it and I have a happy hubby again. Surprising what a different pair of eyes can do….he was getting in a real tizzy because he couldn’t find the fault. Trains have been running all afternoon 🚂🚂The model buildings he’d been bought for his birthday last November have come down to be painted. They’ve been half made since Spring. It’s very therapeutic painting the buildings. I’ve undercoated 4 cottages in dark grey paint. Tomorrow I’ll sponge light grey over….then it’s rooftops, doors and windows. He has ideas of making a street with street lights and the cottages will be lit. I was hoping it would be done before this summer but he lost his train mojo. Maybe it’ll return now it’s working a bit better.Next job will be to rebuild the ramp and decking. He’s undecided whether to do it himself or get a man that can…..I’m fancying a man who can 🤫😉 it’ll be done whilst Dh is still thinking about it 🤞🤞Then I want my shady nook doing. We also need to get a damp specialist in for the hall as we have horrendous damp patches 😳. It’s only a few years since we had it replastered and painted in a bid to solve the damp out there. We had it pointed outside so we have no idea what to do next. Before we had it plastered the builder said we didn’t need a damp course……just new vents - which we also had done. So I really think we need expert advice. I also need some plastering in my bedroom then it needs painting. I’ve put this off for a couple of years since we had the downstairs remodelled. I couldn’t face any further mess at the time but it’s beginning to annoy me now. It’s quite nice to feel motivated again. 😁January spends - £587.580

Yesterday we went for a walk to a local beauty spot with views for miles. We took binoculars and recognised both football grounds in the distance, neighbouring towns as well as a fantastic view of the big city nearby, all surrounded by beautiful hills. The only problem was we took the wrong path up and I thought ds was going to get stuck on a very precious path in his wheelchair. We took the wrong turning and ended up on a narrow cycle/ horse path with the one we should have taken on the other side of the bushes…..we could see it but couldn’t get to it and couldn’t turn around as the path had eroded with a channel down the middle…..it was the longest most precarious short walk I’ve ever taken……felt like miles but was less than half a mile. At least no horses or bikes came hurtling through. I’ve had to sit with my foot up today after walking on such uneven ground….my ankle most certainly didn’t like it.Spoke to Dd and gks yesterday…..they are abroad on holiday. Lol youngest gdd was sorting out the sleeping arrangements in her new house for when we go to visit in a few weeks. She has her prioities right - always wants to know where she is sleeping and where she is eating her dinner 😂😂😂😂
No spends over the weekend - we went to ds for tea and I took cakes left and frozen from my baking earlier this week.
I’m going to pay my credit card in full and tally my August spends.January spends - £587.582
