In the word of Dame Deborah “Chek your 💩”
She has done so much for awareness. I know I haven’t had cancer but I do have a stoma and I also had one 15 years ago. The difference in attitude and acceptance is totally different now to when I had the first one and it’s thanks to people like Dame Deborah and the radio DJ Adele Roberts.

I went to the gym. I’m hoping the exercises will help….no pressure on my ankle 🤞I left my purse at home as I knew I didn’t need anything 😇 I had to pop to Morrison’s to post a letter to DWP - their post is collected at teatime whereas the other postboxes nearby go in the mornings. Not sure how much difference it makes…..anyway if I’d had my purse I could have well succumbed to some more plants to replace the ones that well and truly died of thirst whilst we were away, but my pennies are still in my purse 😁👍 I was very cross when I saw my dead plants though, as there were beautiful when I bought them but I don’t think they particularly liked where they were - note to myself not to buy those again. The plant pots they were in were slightly smaller than I usually use too so dried out more quickly 😏 what a waste of money 😏January spends - £587.583

Oh. You have reminded me that I need to ask the neighbours if they will water our veggies and plants for us next week while we are away.
Thank you.1 -

I was sorry to hear the news about Deborah James when I woke up this morning - she absolutely has done an incredible amount for de-stigmatising bowel health hasn't she - I'm so glad she got her amazing day with Prince William visiting while she was still able to enjoy it.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Made it to the end of the month within my spendy limit…….just.New month tomorrow but I know it’ll be an expensive one. I’m going away for 3 nights with my friend. I have been saving though by taking cash out for incidentals like the window cleaner, hairdresser etc…..every month, I’ve put surplus cash away and taken a fresh amount out for a new month. I’ve saved over £200 doing this - which is more than I expected 😁 so that’ll go a good way towards the hotel cost. Train tickets are already bought…..I’m just hoping there isn’t a strike 🤞. I think I’ll carry on with this system towards my Christmas fund. I’ve also put £10 a month for cash presents out of my incidental cash for my Great nieces and nephews token present - of which there are 12 - so that’ll be taken care of by December too. I’ve never been so organised 😁😁January spends - £587.582
