Went to physio……there was a man and lady….the man was doing top up training was was very thorough…..lady also asked loads of questions as she monitored him. One day I’ll go to the GP and not end up with a hospital appointment at the end of it 😏 referring me to orthopaedics as a lot of degeneration in my ankle joint in comparison to previous x rays…..it’s what I expected to be honest. Might be an injection or might be corrective surgery that’s needed 😳 Just a matter of waiting now….could be a while. Told me to carry on swimming regularly and use it but not to overuse it, and recommended a group at my local council gym for staying steady on your feet.
I had a lovely swim with an old friend this morning followed by lunch. It was good to have a catch up 😁January spends - £587.581 -

Looking forward to our trip to the pie shop tomorrow. I’ve been very sensible food wise this week in readiness….and will try to be sensible whilst away too. I usually don’t bother whilst on holiday but when holiday is every few weeks I need to reign in. I’ve just cooked all the veggies in the fridge and made a delicious sauce to go with cheese and pasta tonight and will take a tub away with us.
I’m just having a tea break between blitzing the house…..my heart isn’t in it and it’s taking a while 😏January spends - £587.581 -
Glad your brother has had his op OK Milann - hopefully he's recovering OK.
Also quite envious of your few days away every few weeks - that would definitely suit me! Hope the pie place was every bit as good as you were expecting!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

We’re back after a few lovely restful days. We had beautiful weather and had some delicious meals out - pie pub which ds treated us to for Father’s day and and afternoon tea using a voucher we’d been given for Christmas. We’ve seen some stunning coastlines, and beautiful villages, visited a model village, watched a naval battle between tiny boats in a beautiful park. We swam most mornings, had several ‘bbqs’ using the George Forman Grill outside the motorhome. We paced ourselves more than we’ve ever done before and were in bed shattered early most nights with the exception of an evening we visited the club site where there was a group performing Beetle songs….it was ok as a 1 off but I couldn’t have gone every night. We should have been home yesterday but there was a an Armed Forces day today so we found a campsite with spaces and had an extra night. We enjoyed watching the marching bands, helicopter and plane displays but the Red Arrows stole the show……I was very surprised they did the full display as there was quite a bit of cloud. They were fantastic. We had a great time and it felt longer than six nights - in a good way 😂😂😂
I spent some cash but didn’t go mad……we do try and do most things MSE style although the price of diesel isn’t MSE at all 😏January spends - £587.581 -

Thanks Beanie. Enjoy your break Amber.
Yesterday we went to see ds. All his strawberries have ripened at once. I brought a big bag full home along with some blackcurrants and raspberries. We’ve eaten some but I’m going to attempt to make jam. I’ve made lemon curd many times but haven’t made jam since I was at school.Wish me luck. A couple of friends came around for dinner before we knew it it was 5.30…..so I’ve only just finished cutting all the strawberries up. It’s taken a while but I want to get it sorted tonight whilst the fruit is at its best 😁January spends - £587.581
