Beanie it was a rather stunning sunset……pity the houses were in the way. There are several photos over the local pond/park that folk have posted on FB. They are absolutely amazing…..wish I’d have been there 👍January spends - £587.582

No beautiful sunset last night rain, rain and more rain. The garden needed it though.

The weekend unfolded quite nicely. A bit of a lazy one yesterday…..Dh cleaned Millie and I did a bit of ironing. Tea was from the freezer…..we seem to be eating lots from in there but it doesn’t seem to be going down any 😳 we nipped to Sainsbury’s to get Dh some shorts and t shirts but didn’t go until 6pm when the crowds had dispersed….had a look in John Lewis too just as they were closing. He doesn’t often get any new clothes and was beginning to look a bit unloved 😏 Wasn’t sure what size to buy so bought a couple of options so I need to nip back with a pair that didn’t fit.
Today we met ds and went to use some Tesco vouchers that needed using so a free dinner was had - just £10 for drinks. Then we went to a local beauty spot about half an hour away, had a short walk….I must have sat at least 4 times 😏 to rest….my foot is beginning to drive me bonkers now 😡 Anyway there is a fantastic view overlooking my home town and surrounding range of hills. We had binoculars with us and it was quite nice spotting landmarks 😃
Tomorrow is U3A and I’m going to see if my brother is in afterwards and nip over on the tram. I haven’t seen him since he had his op. I’ve got a nurse coming out Tuesday so will stay in doing some housework, haircut on Wednesday and then we’re off again on Thursday 😀January spends - £587.582 -
Paid for the hotel today……wasn’t nice seeing my little stash of cash I’d saved being handed over to my friend. All I need now is spending money…..I’ve got some stashed away in my loose change money box for a starter……no idea how much. Last count was about £60 but since as I don’t use much cash these days it doesn’t mount up like it used to.Had a lovely visit to my brother and he looked better than I’ve seen him for a long time. I’d nipped into a big Asd@ at the corner of his road to try and get Dh another pair of shorts in a browny shade…..no joy so I got off the tram on my way home and nipped into M&S by the side of the tram station in the big town near me….still no joy. Anyway I got some grey ones so he will look half respectable when we go away to dds in laws. Can you tell I’m hopeful of some good weather 👍I just jumped on the next tram home with minimal walking 😁 Shattered.com now though. Im having a tidy up whilst waiting for the nurse to come out tomorrow and not much else other than a bit of catch up tv 😁January spends - £587.580
