What I've heard about catering college meals is that firstly their hygiene is as good or better than you will find in a good restaurant but the serving can be a little slower, which could be a problem if dining with people whose conversation is likely to flag otherwise not. As SA says should be good - enjoy.

Really good news from the DWP for once . Have a lovely meal at the catering college . Hoping that your stomach has settled down.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Yes my stomach has settled again. It doesn’t usually last long, just unpredictable 👍
I’ve had quite a good day tidying around and generally pottering around the house 👍 I made a very mild turkey mince, keema style curry for tea with rice. Dh was very surprised as I don’t usually do curry. I’d intended getting him a hotter one out of his frozen stash of home made ones but he said he smelt so good he’d have the same as me. I’ll definitely make it again if I can remember how I did it…..I winged it 😂😂😂😁 I’d got myself in a rut with everything so I’m trying to do new things 😁😁
I’ve got high hopes of the meal tomorrow. The sample menu looks good I think the dearest thing on there was £8 and we’ve got a half price voucher…..will leave a good tip though, I know it’s a long time since I was at catering college but the tips made a big difference to us 👍January spends - £587.582 -

A lovely day has been had here. We drove to our local tram station and I bought a tram day ticke…..£4.60. Dh travels with his bus pass 😏
We found the college and the food was lovely….tasty and hot. The waiting staff looked petrified - bless……especially the lads who carved and rolled smoked salmon at the table.January spends - £587.585 -
All the food and a glass of wine each came to the grand total of…….drumroll please…….
£12.84 👍👍👍😁😁😁👏👏👏
We did have a voucher for half price food though. The wine was £1.50 a glass and that was full price.
We had a mooch around the local market and then got back on the tram for a ride out to make the most of the tram ticket. We ventured to the end of the line where there is quite a famous market….known for its black pudding. By the time we got there everything was shutting down and it wasn’t a full market day. It was beginning to hailstone with a vengeance though so we had a coffee and got back on the tram. We contemplated getting off in the big city but the weather was dire so we headed home. Although we were out best part of the day most of it was sitting on the tram or eating…so it wasn’t strenuous but I’m shattered.
Beanie….I tried to find the signature - found my profile but couldnt figure the rest out 🤔🤔January spends - £587.581 -
