Loving the tinned potato ideas 👍
We ended  up going to Spoons for tea which is just up the road from the hotel. The singer was amazing. A good assortment of songs - just him, his guitar and his own take on songs. We will definitely go again but eat there next time. I get a discount on food and drink with my membership 😁👍

The stewed steak, cabbage and potatoes I’d planned yesterday will be used today instead 😁 Ds is coming around. It’s another wet and windy day here. I’m hoping for a crack of sunshine so we can go for a walk 😏 it’s not looking good though…..

It was forecast for rain all day here but it quickly turned to sunny but windy. The wind is bitter though 🥶
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I’ve just booked a swim for tomorrow afternoon. I’m going to a U3A singalong in the morning- no idea what I’m letting myself in for…..I told the organiser I enjoy singing but I’m not sure folk enjoy listening 😂😂😂 whilst I’m out I’ll do a slight detour to the gym. Going last night to the bar there made me think about using my membership again now omicron has subsided a little. I’m going to try a swim session and a gym session a week…..even if it’s only a short session. Little and often is the way to go for me.
I know I keep saying it and not doing much about it…..but I really do need to get rid of a stone and a half. I’ve started getting discomfort under some scarring and I’m convinced it’s to do with carrying the extra weight in that area😳

  • Good news on the swim session, do they do bring along a friend for free ? Enjoy your stewed steak today. A singsong sounds great I am sure you will enjoy it.
    Happy Sunday.

I've just caught up with your diary!  I'm very envious of your motor home!  Your trip to Bristol sounded lovely and such beautiful photos. I think Millie will pay for herself in spades over time!
Have a great singalong tomorrow- can't wait to hear how you got on!👍

That was great winnings at SW Milann - well done!

I was going to say about tinned tatties working well in HM potato salad too - something about the texture of them I think!
