The retirement do sounds like a great idea as long as you’re available 😆 Hopefully you can sort something out to suit all. Those hens are very productive, you’ll be baking for quite a while. The postman sounds rubbish 😬 We often get post for a house further down the road, the same numbers as ours but in a different order, so I end up having to take it round and their gate is a nightmare to get through.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

They are certainly productive hens. I think there are about 15 hens though. All fancy breeds so we have multi coloured and different sized eggs 😁January spends - £587.581

I would love some hens! I can imagine they’d be quite a lot of work and cost though, I’d want them to have a lovely warm hen house and and a safe run and I bet that really adds up.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

They are not that expensive to keep.
Mind you hers are not laying so much at the minute.2 -
Lovely having all those fantastic fresh eggs to use Milann - what a treat!
We used to routinely get post for the flat upstairs through our door - we always traipsed up and popped it through for them, sadly we're pretty sure judging by the amount that went missing that they just threw ours away. I complained to the sorting office in the end and the postman got changed - I suspect this was his aim mind you as he wanted a round without stairs.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I had egg on toast for breakfast……yummy 😂
I had a phone consultation with the lady fro DWP this morning….she confirmed that I don’t need to send anymore sicknotes and there is no time limit and no more phone consultations. It will be reviewed 18 months from my application which will be towards the end of 2023. This is a weight off my mind to hear it officially 😁
I'm having a tidy up day today - it’s not bad so if I crack on it’s shouldn’t take long.
Haircut tomorrow morning as I’ve not had it cut since the beginning of December and it’s a short style and beginning to take on a life of its own. Then we are going out for lunch to a local catering college near to where Ds works. He went for a Christmas meal there and said is was as good as any restaurant- they gave a half price voucher which he passed on to us. So could be very good…..or not 😏😏 I know when I was at catering college and we had a restaurant day it was top notch food. So fingers crossed 🤞👍January spends - £587.582 -
Oh that's brilliant news about DWP - what a relief!
Pretty sure all the colleges have a really stringent checking routine in place to make sure whatever goes over the pass is absolutely right! Hopefully you'll have a fantastic meal!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Great news about DWP and a weight off your mind I bet. I’ve heard very good reports of catering college meals so it should be a good one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
