I went to the singing group this morning- I loved it. They did a variety of songs - I’d heard most of them but there was an odd one I didn’t know. Everyone seemed very friendly so I will go again. The 2 hours passed very quickly. I went for a swim afterwards. I really am nowhere as good as I used to be. I did 10 lengths and rested in between…..I went in the jacuzzi and salt steam room and it was lovely. I spoiled myself with dinner of an omelette and salad. I’m aching in muscles I’d forgotten I had. I thought gentle exercise was supposed to be good for you 😏
I called into Aldi and Morrison’s on my way home. Today’s spends are £40.

Well wonders will never cease…..I’ve just had a message from a lady I used to work with who is trying to get some people together for a retirement do for me…..but didn’t ask me and I can do the date she suggested next week 😏 I suggested another date and she can’t do those……she said she’ll get back to me……watch this space.

February spends £67 so far. Plus £100 cash which I’ll tot up at the end of the month depending how much I’ve used and put anything left in the Michael Buble weekend away.
I’m going to have a lazy day today…..tummy isn’t at its best 😏

  • Got to laugh - they try to sort out a retirement do for you but forget to make sure you're available?! You couldn't make it up could you! Glad they are going to do something though - quite right too!

Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday in between the singing and swimming! Sorry to hear you're suffering a bit today though.

I’ve  changed my podiatry appointment to mid March instead of the beginning of the month…..that’ll mean I can go to the craft group. If I couldn’t have changed it I’d have gone ahead but another couple of weeks on top of what I’ve already waited won’t make any difference.
I’d cooked a chicken and veg tray bake last night….. jerk seasoning for Dh and paprika and turmeric on mine….enough for tonight too. I was cold and hungry and in danger of grazing on rubbish - so I’ve already eaten mine 😂😂😂 it’ll stop me picking and I’ll make some soup or a jacket for me tonight and Dh can have his 👍
The post has just been……the letters I received were for people in the next Avenue. I collared the postman and gave it them back….he looked at the number and went to post it at number 4 in my Ave….l had to tell him again it was the next Ave and asked him to check the other addresses in his hand. I said I’d hoped my post hadn’t gone through the wrong door…..he didn’t seem to have a clue which road he was in and blamed whoever set his round out for him 😳 I asked him if he checked the addresses……not rocket science. He didn’t seem to care 🤬🤬🤬 So I hope I didn’t have any post today as it could be anywhere 🤔🤔🤔
