Thanks Beanie and SA……depending on which site I looked it suggested different things. That’s a weight off my mind as I was expecting it to finish in May…..it would have been a real struggle until State pension kicks in.January spends - £587.581

That's good news on you hopefully not having that limit then - will certainly make things easier won't it.
How about giving yourself permission to watch one thing on the TV, but on the condition then you switch it off, get up and do something different for a set period of time. Leaving the TV on in the background makes you more likely to "just sit down and watch another thing" maybe. Could you try listening to the radio rather than having the TV on, and maybe having one day a week when you simply don't switch the TV on before a certain time? Ours literally never goes on before mid afternoon at the earliest even if we're in all day, and even then it's rarely on until the evening.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I had got into the habit of listening to the radio in the morning and then going out for a walk or swim and only putting the tv on whilst having a drink and something to eat once back home. Something I need to get back into. I barely put it on at all in the summer. Not sure what has got into me lately.
I did a U3A craft group this morning on zoom. I can’t say I enjoyed it particularly, but know once meetings start face to face next month it will be better. I’ve knitted 3 creme egg chicks for the local children hospice. I’ll see how many I can make before next month’s meeting when U3A collect them. It’s quite a money spinner for the hospice coming up to Easter. They have people all around the area knitting - a lot of eggs are donated from companies, stuffed into the chicks and they sell them for £1 each. My 3 little chicks won’t make much of an impact but every little one counts as they say 👍
It would have been my eldest brother’s birthday today. I adored him and went everywhere with him and his girlfriend when I was little…..people used to think he was my dad 😂😂 miss him even though it’s coming up to 30 years since he passed away 💔January spends - £587.582 -
Dh has been looking after his bosses chickens as they are away. So far this week we have had 22 freshly laid eggs. They have a chicken coop to die for…..we call it chicken Hilton and when they are allowed out the corner of the garden they have is bigger than our garden. I went with him to feed them last summer when his boss was away. They were so funny…..they absolutely loved cooked spaghetti and pecked at it as they do worms 😂😂
My February spends are now £12January spends - £587.581 -

Anniversaries of those no longer with us are always tinged with sadness. Nothing can take away the memories though.I predict a lot of cake baking with all those eggs 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
