Sounds like you had the perfect Christmas Milann and those cakes look gorgeous. I made myself a Christmas cake one year and it looked amazing but tasted awful, I put it out for the birds and they refused to eat it 😂 I now buy the little Christmas cake slices from Mr S just for me because no one else likes it. I also buy myself a couple of the little single serving Christmas puddings too 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202

OBL…..I love Christmas cake but can take or leave the pudding. No idea why think it’s because I hated the taste after my dad always set it alight. I don’t do that but the image and taste lingers….January spends - £587.582

We’ve been to ds today. We had a trip to Costco. We get packs of things and split them between us. £35 well spent 👍
He’d cooked a lovely beef cobbler, red cabbage, sprouts and hassle back potatoes- very tasty.I had an early night last night - it was my mums anniversary- 45 years. I took myself to bed watching catch up tv. Still feeling a bit flat but think it’s the come down after being with everyone over Christmas as much as anything else. Ive got an anchoring to visit my brother, but he is being super careful as he is quite vulnerable. I’ll phone him tomorrow…..I have spoken to him over Christmas 😁 not the same as visiting though.
I’m going up to iron a couple of things and watch some catch up Corrie.January spends - £587.584 -
I always feel flat after Christmas, no idea why as it’s usually not that great to be honest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Maybe that's why you feel flat, you are hoping each year it is going to be better & then it isn't

I went to weigh in at SW this morning- just a drop in. I was pleased that I’d only put 1/2lb on in 2 weeks as I’ve eaten and drank anything I’ve wanted…..can’t even say I’ve done much walking - just a couple of short walks, but a lot of days doing absolutely nothing. My new approach seems to be helping…..I’ve taken the pressure off myself and am just enjoying the food I want with a bit of accountability each week when I go to meet friends at group. I’ve been doing it long enough to know which foods are ok…..or not. Not sure what the consultant would say if she knew but as long as it’s working I’m going with it.
I paid my cc in full yesterday……all spends to date.
We’ve just booked a city break for a couple of nights in 3 weeks time 😁 might as well make use of the motorhome 😁😁
Not much planned for tonight. Ds is coming around for tea…..which Dh is cooking…..a lamb and aubergine dish with pomegranate cous cous. Ds will probably see the new year in with us and head home, but he is welcome to stay over if he wants 👍
