I’ve just had my new Tesco cc and it doesn’t say it’s a club card one. Dies anyone know if you still get points for using it…..if not I’ll change.

We should be going to DS’s Xmas day, but due to one of DDIL’s family who was also supposed to be going who has now tested positive, it’s all up in the air. Truthfully would rather stay at home and I have most of the Xmas dinner stuff in. Told DS we can always have a belated Xmas dinner in the coming weeks if everything calms down.x

My brother has just messaged me…..he should have been going to stay with his son tomorrow and the rest of the family joining for Christmas Day. His 12 year old grandson has just tested positive and is absolutely distraught that he’s ruined Christmas for everyone - what a horrible burden for a child. ☹️☹️😳😳 They’ll have a big get together once things settle but he’s absolutely gutted. I feel so sorry for him he’s a lovely sensitive boy.

Everyone seems to have got Covid right now. I’m hoping this is it going out with a bang 🙏 I heard a virologist on the radio last week saying that when a virus is entering its final stage it morphs into a highly contagious but mild version of itself 🤞

  • Aargh so many positive tests - let's hope the early studies suggesting it's less likely to lead to hospitalisation prove to be correct. It's awful that a child of 12 feels so responsible  - but also a shame a few more grown adults didn't have that same sense of responsibility - I suspect if more did we'd not be in the state we are!
