Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

I’ve just arrived home and having half an hour before I start doing tea.
I had a lovely time visiting dd and seeing the gks. Wish it was closer to home though. We had a very stormy day on Tuesday so just nipped to the shops in the car and pottered about the house making party bags up for littlest gdd party on Sunday. We’d contemplated going into Canterbury on Wednesday but decided to stay in dds town - we walked along the seafront mooched in the little independent shops and had a lovely lunch out before picking the gks up from school. I took eldest shopping after school for her mum and dads Christmas pressie and we had a lovely time. I got to watch her ballet show……a repeat of what they’d just done in the first exam - it was lovely. They both did a show at school but unfortunately I couldn’t go due to covid - just parents. It seemed a shame as it’s not often I’m down there when they perform…..but it’s better to stay safe.
I’m shattered now - I should be meeting a friend at a garden centre or breakfast tomorrow but I’ve messaged to asked her to come here instead.January spends - £587.586 -

My friend is coming around for breakfast so that I could be free this afternoon for the DWP appointment. I’ve just had a phone call cancelling the medical assessment as they’ve had to close the office. I’d got myself all psyched up in readiness 😏. Think I’ll write some Christmas cards this afternoon and actually look at what presents I have and make a list of what is needed.January spends - £587.583

SSG I got as far as walking to Morrison’s and actually bought some Christmas cards and stir fry veg for tea. Otherwise I’ve been cuddled up watching catch up Corrie…..I do wonder why I bother sometimes. Just a habit and I’m not sure if I want to break it or not 😂😂 I still need to make a list to decide what I need present wise…..January spends - £587.581
