Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

Yes I had heard. It sounds to me like we go into the same cafe too! No wonder it gets heaving.

We’ve been going to that cafe since the kids were tiny Bad memory…..they are now both in their 40s. They make their own puddings and pies and the cakes are enormous….we usually share if we have room. They have the chippy next door, a few places in Clevelys and now have the place across the road. Just near the traffic lights by the tableaux lights.January spends - £587.581

I love the seaside place with the tower @milann!😃. I haven't been there in years though. My own seaside town does illuminations but they're not a patch on the tower place! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I’ve had a very lazy morning- breakfast in bed and just waiting for ds to come around and take us to a cider place near a local NT place where he is hoping to do some tasting and get dh some for his birthday. We’ve been to the NT place many times but didn’t realise there was a cider farm nearby. We might end up eating out for dh birthday and just do a cheap and cheerful on the actual day. Ive got the new ABBA cd for his birthday.I ordered the game I wanted for gdd online….then I need to make a Christmas list or I’ll end up with lots for 1 and not much for the other…..and nothing for anyone else 😂😂January spends - £587.580

Next week I’m going to have a pre Christmas clean. It’s a year since we had the kitchen done. We had the flooring put down on December 1 st. I haven’t blitzed the cupboards or freezer since…..I used to do something’s every school holiday. So that’s my target for next week…..Kitchen followed by a bedroom at a time and living room, utility room and halll. Hopefully it’ll be fully blitzed ready for the decorations going up in 1st December.
I’ve just finished watching Stacy Solomon sorting somebody’s house out…..it has inspired me 👍January spends - £587.580 -

So when ds came we headed to the cider farm. A lovely friendly family place which has made cider for years but only recently opened their own outlet. There was another family in there and the owners children were showing us all their Labrador puppy and we were all chatting. A mulled cider went down very nicely as did the home made Parkin. As we were at the till tasting various ciders to decide which to buy, a very smartly dressed but scruffy looking fella came in. He picked up a few bottles of apple juice and we exchanged pleasantries. He had a real Manc accent. The lady behind the counter asked if we minded if she served Mr Brown. We were all bemoaning the wet weather and she asked Mr Brown if he wanted a sample of cider….he said he didn’t as he hadn’t had a drink for over 20 years and even then he could only drink a couple of pints before he was on his back. The man from the other family turned around to join in the conversation and said ‘OMG can I have a photo’……I presumed he didn’t mean with me 😂😂😂😂 whilst they were taking photos I asked the lady who he was…….it was Ian Brown…..didn’t mean a thing to me. Lead singer of The Stone Roses…. Anyway he had a photo taken behind the counter with the lady and we all chatted about nothingness for about 5 minutes. He was a lovely fella….polite and obliging….wish I’d have had a photo now. Apparently he live about 5 minutes away from where we were and often pops in for his apple juice…..My brush with fame 😂😂😂and I didn’t have a clue who he was 😂😂😂
We’d planned on walking around the NT place around the corner but it was persisting down so we headed to the big shopping mall not too far away. As we got closer the traffic was busy and there were a lot of football fans about. It was Manchester derby. We decided to give it a miss and go to Costco instead which is across the road. We spent a couple of hours in there. Ds did a lot of Christmas shopping and I bought a few bits…£60 worth 😳 I really need a list as I’m buying Willy Nilly 😵💫😵💫
We’d planned going for a meal for dh birthday but decided to just eat in Costco. We’ve booked Zizzi for Monday evening and I’m going to take him out on Thursday instead of today then next weekend ds and dd are going for a curry somewhere I won’t like whilst I go to see The Drifters with my friend 😁January spends - £587.581 -
I’ve heard of the Stone Roses but not Ian Brown so would’ve been lost on me too. Sounds like a great day out.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Only just got up as I feel rubbish- my throat has gone really sore again. I wonder if it’s because I was talking a lot more yesterday and the damp air. Lazy day planned. I want to watch last nights strictly. I’ve put dh work clothes in the washer and that is my lot I’m afraid. My tummy is playing silly devils so I’m definitely staying in.
im planning on list making and a bit of knitting 👍January spends - £587.581
