My year will run out in May which is when they backdated it till. Still waiting for a consultation with one of their docs so will see what happens then. For now I can relax 😁- they are phoning me every 4 weeks to ‘chat’…..
Covis result came through negative as I expected 😁 I’ll phone the GP to try and get some medication as I think it’s travelled to my chest 😏January spends - £587.580 -

With your medical history you might be classed as a priority patient. Mr SA is with our surgery and he always gets good service compared to others.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

So yesterday both dh and myself were feeling bleugh…..not poorly as such but both struggling with bad throats…..although he has a permanent cough which has gone off the scales. We decided to go out to get some fresh air. He’d spotted something on line called the Ringing, Singing Tree a ride out from here. So off we went on an exploration……it was only a couple of minutes walk from the carpark and the views were amazing.January spends - £587.582

From there we drove to the seaside town with the tower where we’d taken the girls last week. We drove through the lights, went into our favourite cafe for tea and drove back through the lights again. We didn’t get out for a walk as we usually do and we’re home just after 8 where I fell into bed 😏 it was a lovely relaxed afternoon- not many people about and a really bright, cold day. It was a tad disappointing the ‘tree’ wasn’t singing as there was no wind - I bet it’s quite eerie when it whistles.
Dh finally phoned the GP this morning - his chest is awful- really wheezing. He’s had a cough best part of 20 years had every test and x ray going and asthma sprays aplenty - which don’t seem to make any difference and don’t show anything - he sounds awful but says he feels fine. He had the same service as I had yesterday….a phone back in about 15 minutes and prescription waiting at the chemist….not the same as seeing a doctor but at least we’ve both got antibiotics and he’s got another inhaler. It’s a start and we will phone back if the meds don’t work. His covid test was negative too 😄
I’ve had a voucher with some Nectar points on, so headed to Mr Sainsbobs for some bread and a game I’d seen for eldest gdd for Christmas last week when I was there. I wanted to check dd hadn’t bought it first….they didn’t have any left. So I’ll be on a mission to get it from somewhere now……I’ll nip to the other big Sainsbobs this evening when the traffic dies down and maybe have a wander in John Lewis too.
I want to get the new ABBA CD for dh just in case his birthday present doesn’t come in time. It’s a kit for a cottage for his railway…..and I’ve ordered some for Christmas too from myself and dd. He will make a row of terrace cottages from them. I’ve known what I was getting him for a while but suddenly realised his birthday is Monday and they’re coming via Royal Mail…..so could well be late. I didn’t actually order them until yesterday 😵💫

You've reminded me we haven't been to see the lights this year. Followed by the obligatory fish & chips at the end. We didn't go last year obviously but so far it hasn't even been mentioned.

Bad memory do you know they’ve extended the season this year until Christmas - I love the lights - a magic all of their own no matter how old I get 😂😂 - there was a big difference between last week when it was half term and was mayhem….we like a cafe in Bispbam (sp) - the queue was ridiculous last week and we ended up in a different one which wasn’t nearly as good even though it’s owned by the same people. Last night we drove along the lights in both directions at around 20mph and had a lovely relaxed tea in our fave cafe 😁 which had plenty of spare tables.January spends - £587.581
