So pleased you found them but laughing at where they turned up 🤣 It reminds me of years ago a young lad at the local pub had to have false teeth due to gum disease. My friend and I were on the dance floor when he laughed at something his friend said so hard his teeth shot across the floor and landed between us. He calmly walked over, picked them up, washed them in his pint and put them back in🤣🤣

  • That beats me finding my phone in my pants on the clothes horse 😂 I was working on an elderly care ward years ago and this little old lady was in the day room watching tv and she asked me to help her with her teeth but she wasnt wearing any, it turns out they were across the room under the tv table just sitting there grinning at me ,she was about 6f feet  away so god knows how they ended up there 😀

SG2 have you been to the pub? Near Coombs on the way to Chapel en le Frith.
The show was great last night. There were quite a few ballads I hadn’t heard and it told the story of The Dubliners….it was quite sad. I didn’t know much about them - just liked some of the music so quite a good night. They really knew how to work the audience and had amazing voices and were great musicians. What surprised me was the amount of younger people in the audience. It was a fantastic atmosphere. As good as any show I’ve paid a lot for the tickets were £26. I did feel a tad strange being in a theatre that was virtually full with all the talk in virus numbers going up.

I love the photos of the spooky pub and really pleased to hear DH found your teeth although I did laugh at the plant pot photo!😂
The show sounded fab - it's great when you book a local show and it's really good and you enjoy it. The ticket prices are so MSE as well. I'm off to see 'Pretty Woman' in London next week. I've not had to buy the ticket as it is a Christmas present from my sister - Christmas 2019 that is!  What with the lockdown the show was cancelled until July this year!
Hope you got everything you needed for when the family arrive tomorrow.

Enjoy the show SG.  We had tickets for 2019 for Les Mis but ended up getting refunds….likewise for The Halle ( Ithink) playing Elton John. I’m hoping they’ll re-schedule.
Well yesterday was the most spendy day I’ve had in a long time. I’d forgotten what shopping for a houseful was like…..6 and sometimes 7 of us. I went rather blindly around the shop - putting all sorts in the basket with no particular plan…😳😳 I did enjoy myself though.

A manic couple of days here with the family. Shattered.com.
The excitement when the ice cream van came down the ave today - the gks had never seen one before as they don’t have them near their house….we had one as a treat but made sure they knew it wouldn’t be a daily occurrence 👍

A walk in my favourite place I walk to today - gks loved it. Sil treated us to a cuppa whilst they played. We’ve got the children in their own for the next couple of days whilst dd and son in law go away to the Lakes  in celebration of dds 40th birthday. They’re going home Sunday morning which is when I’ll collapse in a heap.😂😂😂 It’s actually been lovely we all muck in together with the cooking and clearing up but the house feels very crowded….it’ll feel massive once we get it to ourselves again.
