Did you find your tooth? If the tooth fairy took it by accident you should at least find a pile of money! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I’m afraid the tooth fairy must have taken my tooth. It’s not in any of my usual places….I’ve emptied drawers and tied to retrace my movements in case I’ve put it somewhere stupid…..and I’m afraid I could well end up having to pay lots of money instead of the fairy giving me cash. I think my mouth must have changed a bit since I didn’t wear it for a while when I was so ill. I couldn’t get it back in a first but even now they suddenly become sore so out it comes 🤔January spends - £587.581

I can’t claim on the insurance Scottie. They still haven’t surfaced.
I had my day planned today. Collect parcel, pop in Morrison’s for bread and milk, come home and finish the bedrooms, go to gym induction then come home and chill.
Just as I was leaving I had an email from dd saying that parcel was being delivered to my house today…..I wasn't amused as I’d said I’d pick it up….within 10 minutes she and I had another email saying it was ready for collection. The post office haven’t got a clue what they are doing…..I was leaving the house and the phone rang so I answered it thinking it was dd re the parcel saga. It was a cousin I hadn’t seen for years but we bumped into each other during lockdown and have kept in touch via the phone since. Anyway she was at my local shops and asked if she could come round. She did and it was so lovely to see her. I did feel a tad embarrassed as I only had a little bit of milk in and no bread so couldn’t offer her dinner….don’t think she expected any but I felt a bit rude. So I ended up rushing to the sorting office for the parcel and just made it to the gym in time. Then to get my milk and bread on my way home. The bedrooms didn’t get finished. The tops in the parcel from dd fit really nicely from Seasalt…..I’ve had a few from there and been really pleased with them all.
The gym lady was lovely, I explained I didn’t want anything too strenuous and why and showed her the programme I’d been doing at the physio classes. We worked out a programme just a little bit more advanced than I’d been doing. I was pleased I’d made the appointment rather than trying to do my own thing. She didn’t use the fancy machine the previous instructor had used but I can live with that. I know she is a private instructor at the gym……I’m tempted to book a couple of sessions with her…..but maybe I’d better see how I go on for a few weeks first then think about it. I don’t want to end up like last time with another stress fracture in my hip…..

Glad to hear you finally picked up your parcel and you're pleased with your present. 👍
The gym went well - I think you're right though in leaving off booking the personal sessions until you're happy with how your progress is working out. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I didn’t know Seasalt did shoes Beanie….shall have to investigate….although I suspect like you I shall look on enviously. Talking of Seasalt…..dh asked me to look at his phone today - a sale from Seasalt ( I’d already seen the ad on my phone but didn’t say anything 😂😂) he asked if there was anything I liked…..well I couldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth could I 😁😁 I said I liked a dress and a top and asked which he preferred. He has ordered them both for me. He does have his moments 😁😁 - usually before he buys something for his train set 😂😂😂😂suspicious moi…😏 YES 👍😁
I finally finished tidying my bedroom today….only needed to Hoover, I did the bathroom too. Anyone any ideas how to stop a bin smelling…..
Dh came home and said he was going to sort his bosses chickens for him as he is away for a few days. It was a lovely afternoon and boss lives towards the countryside in a big house that backs onto a NT place not far from me so I went too. He had 12 beautiful chickens….one caught my eye a black one with furry feet and iridescent feathers. We stayed about half an hour - we threw some cooked spaghetti that had been left for them….they were so funny as they treated them like worms….then we filled all the feed and water bottles. Talk about chicken Hilton 😂😂 the chicken area was as big as my garden…..and it was like a tiny insignificant bit of bosses garden. There is a building as big as a garage for them and a gravel area and grassed area with shrubs. Anyway the chickens left us 8 great big eggs…guess what’s for breakfast tomorrow 😁
From there we drove into The Peak District via the old winding road between the hills rather than the newish by pass. We stopped for a late dinner early tea at a little pub we haven’t been to for years. This pub is noted for its decorations….Halloween and Christmas. We had a pensioners special- 3 courses for £10.50. I was stuffed. We ended up at a little Roman Spa town famous for its spring water. There was a queue waiting to fill bottles from the spring fountain. We had a little walk around the pavilion and headed home along a different road through the hills. A lovely unexpected day. Shattered.com now though and we only had about a 10 minute walk. My phone isn’t talking to my iPad for some reason but if I can sort it I’ll post some of the pub piccies tomorrow.
A NSD for me 😁 but not for dhJanuary spends - £587.584
