I had a lovely day yesterday meeting up with a MSE lady I’ve met many times before and a lovely new lady. We chatted and had dinner and a little mooch around town. Just lovely 😁
Dh met me in town later and we explored a tram line we haven’t been on before as it opened at the start of lockdown…..decided to get good value out of my day ticket 😂😂 We headed to a different big shopping mall. We had a drink and little wonder - and headed home on the tram. The car was waiting at the station so we didn’t need to walk the half hour walk home 👍 I was out at 9.30 yesterday morning and didn’t get in until gone 9 last night 😳😳😁
The most strenuous thing I’ll be doing today is heading to see ds who is making lasagne for tea.
I didn’t make it to SW again but have put another 2lb on when I weighed at home…..can’t say I’m surprised as I’ve eaten out 4 times since my last weigh in. I think at the moment my desire to get out after not being able to socialise is beating my desire to loose weight. Not sure what I can do about it - suppose I need to make better choices when out and about 🤔🤔
ScottiedogI’ve never liked motorways…..I think I’ve only ever driven on one once - it was about 10 at night and a couple of miles - I never encountered another car 😁I’d be fine if all journeys were like that 😂😂
Oh dear SA….I’m sure it’s no reflection on you that you never met up again with the other MSE er 👍 OBL if only we were closer we could have some great crafting days.January spends - £587.583 -

Lazy day here, I was been really tired, all my outings last week have caught up with me. I went to bed about 9 last night woke at 6 then the next I knew it was 9 this morning 😳😁 All I’ve done is cook tea…I made extra mousaka to freeze for when dd and family come for a week over half term - need to get ahead of the game. We are having gks for a couple of nights on their own whilst son in law takes dd away for her 40th…..she is making this birthday last 😂😂😂 but dd and sil will be here with them 5 nights.
Found out that they tried to deliver my birthday tops from dd last Monday…..they didn’t put any note through the door - I’ve had to rearrange a delivery as I have no card to take to the post office for collection 😡 I only found out they’d been delivered when dd asked if they fitted.January spends - £587.581 -
I watched Strictly on catchup yesterday immediately followed by the results show. The result was what I expected.I booked and went to the ladies gym this morning. I did about 30 minutes and kept the resistance levels low. I’m better doing that a couple of times a week with intermittent swimming than doing too much as I’ve done previously ending up with a stress fracture in my hip. I only did 5 minutes per machine 😄 have booked an instructor session on Wednesday as they have an all singing and dancing machine that shows the weaknesses in your body and you can monitor any improvements along with any weight differences.NSD on Saturday, Sunday and today. That’s 5/15…I think 👍January spends - £587.581

We’ve booked a week in Cornwall at the end of March beginning of April for the motorhome. It’s a Haven site we have passed many a time adjacent the beach. Not sure what will be open at the end of March but was only just over £70 for the week…..we’ve taken insurance out just in case anything happens to stop the journey 😀 if nothing else we’ll get in some lovely coastal walks 😄January spends - £587.583

Great news about the camper van!👍
Well done on the gym today. The machine that shows up weaknesses in your body sounds very interesting and helpful.

We will be having a couple of weeks in Devon and Cornwall next year.
Looking forward to it but not looking forward to the narrow country roads. We will be touring though not staying in the one spot. We are waiting until the end of the year when the kids have gone back to school after their summer holidays. Hoping it will be a bit quieter by then!1 -
RS - it’s a site we’ve passed many times - right near a beach. It could be bright cold weather or freezing cold and wet 😂😂 We know the area well and there is a bus stop nearby if we don’t want to move the van. There is a swimming pool en site…..not sure if it will be open out of season. I wouldn’t entertain this place in season as it would be busy. We once stayed on a different site in February and had better weather than some summers we’ve been. We are having a couple of days on our way home but we’ve not booked anywhere yet. Hopefully we’ll get a few weekends closer to home away over the winter too 😄January spends - £587.581
