I'm not sure what to do  because I went for my booster covid jab last week & they asked me if I had any other jabs in the last 2 weeks.  Well the only other jab would be the flu one so why did they want to know if they are talking about having your flu one in one arm & your booster in the other.  Definitely sounds like mixed messages to me.  I am definitely going to have my flu jab (even though it sounds like the side effects can be worse this year) but when?  Decisions decisions!

I was rather pleased when they sent for me to have my flu before my covid booster as I don’t know why but didn’t fancy having them together. I know they reckon it’s ok…..just me.
Hope you feel better soon OBL.
I had a lovely lunch with my friend - boy did we put the world to rights……she brought old photos so we had a bit of a laugh. We plan to meet up again soon 👍

You should get the ESA for 12 months, contribution based.

Mr SA gets his ESA based purely on his NI contributions not income. Having said that he doesn’t get any  income other than PIP, he doesn’t have any pensions.

The lady I spoke to said you can have £86 a month pension before it affects ESA…when it comes through I think I’ll be just over that amount. If it’s over they reduce the ESA but not sure about the levels needed to still be able to claim anything.

    It's £86 per week, not a month.

  • Fingers crossed you get the ESA , you have paid in for it for many years. I had my flu jab 3 weeks ago and had no side effects , maybe I am lucky.
