We used to stay at the Haven site Perran Sands in Perranporth, Cornwall when the kids were little.
I used to go there when mine were little too. I love it down in Cornwall

RS - it’s a site we’ve passed many times - right near a beach. It could be bright cold weather or freezing cold and wet 😂😂 We know the area well and there is a bus stop nearby if we don’t want to move the van. There is a swimming pool en site…..not sure if it will be open out of season. I wouldn’t entertain this place in season as it would be busy. We once stayed on a different site in February and had better weather than some summers we’ve been. We are having a couple of days on our way home but we’ve not booked anywhere yet. Hopefully we’ll get a few weekends closer to home  away over the winter too 😄
The weather down here can be lovely at that time of year so you might be lucky 😊

That’s what we’re hoping OBL - it’ll be a lot quieter - hopefully the pool will be open even though it’s out of season for a morning swim. I’m not one for sitting on a beach so fingers crossed we’ll get some nice walks in the daytime and go for a drink in the evenings or cuddle up in a lovely warm van. We once went to the caravan in February half term,  prepared for cold, wet weather……it was better than some June weather we’d had. It’s nice having something to look forward to.
Today I need to wait for a parcel to be delivered…..they tried to deliver  it last week and never even pushed a card through the door so I couldn’t pick it up from the post office😡 I requested delivery today but yesterday I had an email saying expect delivery before 3 yesterday…..nothing arrived, I’m hoping that means it’s on the van for today. Pea up in a brewery comes to mind 😡😡 I’ve got the bedding in the washer, so today and tomorrow is tidy bedrooms day……including sorting the toys out that gks played with last time they were here. The door was shut when they went home and I’ve only been in to grab a few craft bits.  They arrive on Sunday evening for a week 😄 dare say they toys will be mixed up within the day again 😂😂 they’re not actually that bad, but I like to have it nice for them.
I had a final payment from work yesterday so want to take a copy of my wage slip to DWP, so I’m hoping this parcel comes early so I can go out.  It’s easier to drop a copy of my wage slip in than trying to send it electronically. No sign of work pension payments yet.

We have always been lucky with the weather in Cornwall in October. Hoping that stays the same for next year  :)

I'm looking into booking something for over New Years. Just waiting on the other half finding out what days he is having off work and if he has any holiday entitlement left this year before I book it. Thinking Wells next the Sea for a few nights. We used to love going there by boat. Will be nice to go and not worry about getting back again!

    Hope your parcel arrives today.

We usually order Christmas presents online but I'm not trusting the delivery services this year. We are going to go to the shops and buy presents this year.

I got all excited when a post office van came down the Ave…..there are only 10 houses. It wasn’t to be. Went to a neighbours house. I’ve tracked it and it still says they are aiming to deliver by 3 yesterday. I’ll give them to 3.30 and nip over to the main sorting office which is only 10 minutes away 😡😡 It’s my birthday present from dd.If they’d have pushed a card through I could have done this last week…..I only knew they’d tried to deliver when my dd asked if they fitted at weekend 😡😡
Ive spent the last couple of hours sorting toys out 😳😳 what on earth made me buy toys with lots of bits…..they were all mixed up and the things I found squirrelled away in handbags 😂😂😂 at least they had fun 😂😂😂….I should change that to the youngest had fun squirrelling things in bags.  Her fave thing is to put things in bags and parade around with the bag ❤️ The longest they usually stay is about 5 days but it’ll be a full week next week…..hope I survive 😉

Blooming typical. I stayed in until about twenty to four. Went to main sorting office and showed them the tracking I had for the parcel which stopped dead at 11.03 yesterday….saying it would be delivered before 3 yesterday 😡😡 they couldn’t understand it either. I went to hand some paperwork into the DWP telling them I’d had a final payment from work with some back pay and had a payment from my works pension today. Don’t want to be accused of fiddling the system and not informing them. I was out just over an hour and the postie had tried to deliver the parcel 😡😡 At least they’ve left a calling card this time which I’ll take tomorrow and pick it up myself……
live been super stressed as I’ve lost my false tooth again……can’t be far away 😳
