Woohoo a lie in unti 8 am - unheard of when they stay. They’re getting better though it’s been 7 every day this week……used to be before 6 😳😳
I’ve still got no voice and it came home to me last night when I couldn’t pick little one out of the car, that my core strength has taken a real knock…. I think I’ve adapted to what I can and can’t do and found ways around a lot of things….but there is no way of getting around lifting a sleepy little one so I had to call on dh 😏
Lazy no spend day planned for today. Even lazier one planned for tomorrow which will include breakfast in bed 👍January spends - £587.582 -
They all went home about an hour ago….it seems very quiet. They’ve got a long journey as the motorway junction is closed and they have to do quite a detour…..it’s usually over 4 hours so not sure how long it’ll take them today.Im sitting enjoying a bacon butty…..there won’t be a lot happening here today though. I’ve got no voice and my throat is sore. Dd sorted the toys yesterday so there isn’t a great deal to do other than general tidying- that can wait until another day.
I have spent money whilst they’ve been here but not as much as I usually do. I’ve still got a freezer full of food as I stocked up for every eventuality. I did treat the girls to an outfit each from Morrison’s but it gave me a great deal of pleasure choosing together and it’s better than buying them a toy or sweets which they don’t need.
I’ve got a telephone appointment with the hip consultant tomorrow - I’m assuming he’ll recommend another steroid injection as the last one is beginning to wear off. He has said previously that he’ll carryon keeping it topped up as long as possible and never mentioned a limit. The physio said the limit is 3 in a joint…….which he didn’t mention 🤔🤔January spends - £587.582 -

No Scottie I haven’t had a replacement. He says I’ll need one eventually but I’ve got a cyst, arthritis, a labral tear and have had a stress fracture in it plus there’s tendon problems too. He says he wants to put the replacement off as long as possible…..which is what I want too. If I can keep going with the steroid injections, I’ll be a happy Milann. Just noticed what time you posted 3 am 😳😳
My voice is a bit better today I think (nobody is in so I haven’t spoken much 😂😂) it is more sore today though - hopefully it’s on its way out now 👍
I had a very lazy day yesterday and have so far today…..a weeks worth of Corrie this morning 😁 It feels strange today - as if I should be getting ready to go back to school tomorrow……
This afternoon I’m going to make chicken in mushroom sauce for tea and have a Hoover of the kitchen and living room and mop the kitchen floor. I think that’ll be my lot.January spends - £587.582 -
Sounds like you enjoyed every minute of GKs visit and they had a great time . Enjoy your restful days , with Christmas approaching I am sure you will be busy again very soon. Hope the throat and voice are better soon.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.2

Just had consultation with hip doc. Took all of 2 minutes- he’s listed me for another injection in theatre as before….probably February or March, he told me again it will need a hip replacement but he wants to leave it as long as possible before he has to do one. I gave him my usual answer of stop saying things like that and it’s working so let’s keep with it. I did ask him if there’s a limit- he said 3 a year as they don’t like doing more than that as it wrecks the joint….but he said the joint is wrecked already…..just a matter of keeping it pain free as long as possible. I’ve been having 2 a year. I do like him as he is a no nonsense straight talker with a great sense of humour 😁
I managed to strain my voice so it was loud enough for him to hear me. Got an phone appointment with DWP tomorrow and she usually prattles on for ages…..hopefully it’ll be a bit better tomorrow.January spends - £587.582 -
What a smashing time you all had on your DGKs visit milann, especially at the seaside town. I loved reading that they really liked the ice cream van as they don't have them where they live. We don't seem to have them round here anymore although when I, and even when DD was young, they came round nearly every afternoon. 🤔
I hope you get your voice back - what a pain! And that your hip doesn't play you up too much. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

SSG the thing that tickled me when the girls were here was the excitement about the ice cream van and they couldn’t get over, the, fact that my nearest seaside is over an hour away….I can’t just walk to the beach 😂😂😂😂 Don’t think they realised that until we did the journey there 😂😂😂January spends - £587.581

Yes - it's funny how you think of things when you're a small child. You assume everyone lives the same sort of life as you!😂Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
