Milann's life keeps getting in the way.......

Another rubbish night and morning tummy wise in Milann’s world. I’m hoping it settles down quickly as I have a physio exercise class later this afternoon….no point going to the GP as I’ve already told them and it’s a side effect of the surgery. It’s not been as bad as this for ages. It settled once before and it will do again….
I’ve just had my haircut. Feels much better again. I was just going to walk around to the cash machine last night so I was ready for this morning….ds gave me some cash save me going out 👍😄January spends - £587.581 -
Your trip out sounds lovely. I want one of those large garages to live in 😁
I have stomach pains at night sometimes, I think it must be diet related, but I like eating everything 🙄 it’s odd as I’m fine standing up, but laying down wanting to sleep is when the pain kicks in. I really need to miss out certain foods and see if that stops it, but then…ohh sandwich!I hope you are happy with your hair cut 😊Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Thanks Ww and SG58. I was very pleased with my hair but by the time I’d walked to my physio appointment it looked like I’d been pulled through a hedge backwards 😂😂😂😂 I’m pretty fed up with this sweating lark. Looked like I’d had a bucket of water thrown over my head. I quite enjoyed the gym physio session - I walked there and went into town and was very naughty and treated myself to a coffee from a lovely independent coffee shop - and there might have been chocolate brownie involved too……my little celebration to myself for finishing work. I can’t continue like this though. I’m not sure why I went back to SW - it hasn’t featured highly in my thoughts this week. On a plus I’ve done some exercise every day this week.
Dh has just phoned me - he left before 6 this morning and won’t be home until late tonight. So much for slowing down…..
I desperately need to do some tidying up tomorrow. It’s not that bad but I keep putting it off because I’ve got all the time in the world to do it. I work better to a deadline. I’ll have to start planning things and make sure I complete tasks before I do it…..😂😂😂….little rewards 👍January spends - £587.582 -

One of my friends retired 8 years ago and still hasn’t got round to doing some of the things on her list of jobs she was going to do when she retired 😆

I called into the train station on my way home from physio and picked up a form for a senior railcard. I’ve phoned dd and tomorrow I’m going to get tickets to go down in between both our birthdays. I never usually get to do this as I’d been tied to school holidays. Feeling excited as I’ve not been down there on my own for a long time and I only ever seem to see her on my own when I’ve come out of hospital. It will be nice to do something good together 👍January spends - £587.580

Dh didn’t get in until 11.30 last night 😡😡 that’s from before 6 yesterday morning 😵💫 I was seething……imagining accidents and all sorts. In a lot of ways the small firm he works for treat him well but in a lot of ways they take advantage of his good nature. They decided to finish the job rather than having to do a 2 hour trip again today……so much for slowing down and taking care of himself. He did phone at 6 saying they would be late but I wasn’t expecting THAT late.So today my angry mood is getting my living room tidied.
I ordered some medical stuff from my supplier on 10th and phoned to chase it up, as it still hasn’t arrived, they haven’t got the prescription back from my GP yet….they really are bad atm. Hopefully they’ll arrive before I head to dds next week otherwise I’ll be in a right royal mess…..the lovely lady said she will send an emergency supply out to me even if the prescription doesn’t arrive in time. I know there’s COVID but it’s basic stuff 😳😳 10 days advance notice for a sicknote and over 10 days to send a prescription that I really cannot manage without…goodness knows what would happen should I need to actually see a doctor 😳😳😳😳 it is quite scary.
Theres been a helicopter circling and apparently there’s been a stabbing in a local park at dinner time - I walk through regularly on my way to SW. A couple of weeks ago there was another just across the road from the GP surgery. It’s going terrible around here 😳
What a pessimistic post - I am grateful
- for the sunshine
- that I’m going to see dd next week
- that I’ve actually cleaned the dead flies off my window ledge 😂😂 ( there were only a couple - as I read that back I imagined Amytivile Horror 😳😂😳😂)
- bake off on tv tonightJanuary spends - £587.581 -
Hmmm, if the stabbing was near the Gp surgery it could be some poor soul losing their grip trying to get a prescription 😖
I hope your DH gets time off in lieu, or some very big bonus for working such long hours.
It’s not Amytiville horror territory until you also see spooky pigs in rocking chairs and find a secret room…or so I keep telling myself as I walk past my own fly collection 😬
I’m looking forward to bake off 🍰Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
