Very strange times SA. I’m not worried about a fuss but would have been nice to be able to go in and say goodbye.I’m sure I’ll get over it 😂😂 think it hit me today because it was a beautiful day and dh is usually off on a Friday - I ended up pottering and not getting on with anything 😏January spends - £587.581

Maybe you can still pop in when everything has settled down? It would be lovely to go when you are in relaxed retirement mode and everyone is frazzled there 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

OMGoodness…..Dh has a new phone and is trying to get a pac code so he can transfer his phone number and terminate his contract which has come to an end. I’d never go to 3 after listening to this - he’s been on the phone ages and can’t get the code he wants. He has his new phone already and the person is still trying to sell him a different one and insist he listen to their deals. What part of I have a new phone and wish to terminate with you don’t they get. I’ve never heard my dh get annoyed before but he’s been on about 20 minutes 😡 he just finished the call and the fella phoned back - he was that busy trying to sell something that he forgot to get his details 😂😂😂 that said it must actually be a rotten job trying to sell things to folk who don’t want them…..and having to meet a sales quota 😏January spends - £587.582

It has been a glorious day - my kind of weather - sunny and warm but not too hot. We walked into town as dh wanted to do something at the bank. 😂😂 Didn’t believe me that he could do it at home until the bank lady told him the same…..but it was a nice walk. There was a biking weekend in town…lots of stunts being performed by BMXers which were pretty impressive. We had dinner in the market - a little cafe that does homemade food. Not very Sw but it was delicious home made cheese and onion pie. I left most of the pastry. Dh treat 😀 it’s been a NSD for me 😁. It is sad to see town so depleted but the council are trying to create interest.

We had a lovely day as well. We sat out in the garden with a few drinks when we got back from the pub. Making the most of it while we can.2

Ds came around and we went to a big out of town M&S where he bought a birthday pressie for my eldest gdd. Her birthday isn’t until November but he’d spotted a top yesterday which was Harry Potter themed - thought about whether she would like it…I think she’ll live in it 😂😂😂if she gets her own way 😂😂😂
From there we headed a big further on to a NT landscape…….an edge with fantastic views and walks and caves where there are legends of wizards. The little village/town nearby is where all the footballers and their ladies hang out…..don’t think I saw any 😂😂but I could have fallen over one and wouldn’t have a clue as I don’t like football 😉 It rained this morning but then turned into another glorious day…..until we got out of the car for our walk…..low cloud or mist and from nowhere….covered the edge and it was really drizzly and cold. My coat was hung up at home 😏 so we had a quick 5 minute walk to the edge and somebody had stolen the view…….just greyness aplenty. We drove home the scenic view past some amazing houses…..the garages were bigger than my whole house 😳😳How the other half live.
Anyway we watched a film, had a lovely lasagne ds had cooked and brought with him. I’m waiting for it to be bedtime as I could happily nod off right now….but refuse to go to bed before 8.30. I had a very disturbed night last night as I was having some tummy issues…it’s nothing contagious- just a problem that crops up from time to time since I had the surgery last year. It is what it is…..slight problem but that’s life 😜January spends - £587.581
