No problem Peb……it’s a joke and I’m half expecting them to say I’m fit for work as I look fine….even though independent doctors have said I’m not😏 It was an absolute eye opener going to DWP yesterday……they thanked me for being polite 😳😳😳what is the world coming to 😵‍💫. Ohhhhh. I sound old with that statement 😂😂😂😂😂

I was having a lazy morning in my dressing gown when the door went and my friend turned up. Good job she knows me well - I sat in my dressing gown having a cuppa with her.  She must have a 6th sense as she always manages to turn up with something I want. She brought me a lovely cardigan which fits perfectly and is the exact colour I wanted 😄
I’ve had a bit of a lazy day as I have had a few busy that have caught up on me. I woke up at 4 this morning and must have nodded back off at about 6 and had the most awful dream about a gorgeous child I used to work with…..I woke up with a real start 😳
Ds is coming around later and we’re going out for a cheap and cheerful meal after our extravagant meal at weekend. Then tomorrow I’m heading to dds until Saturday. The weather isn’t looking great but I’ll just be happy to see them all 😁

I had a lovely birthday and went out for a cheap and cheerful local meal with dh and ds after our expensive meal last weekend. I had some lovely pressies and cards too. The following morning I headed to see dd. The first time I have been on my own on the train for a few years with one thing or another I was quite pleased with myself 😁it took 4 1/2 hours 😏. I kept my luggage minimal so only had a rucksack 😁 I was very pleased I went as dd was struggling trying to get children to 2 different schools. They change schools when they go into the juniors and it’s a 10 minute hike across town…..and her broken foot isn’t healing as quickly as she hoped.
Anyway we had a lovely time- a joint birthday lunch - just the 2 of us. I can’t remember the last time we did that. I’ve left her birthday present there as it’s a couple of weeks yet for her birthday. I want to make her a card which I’ll post to her.
I had a walk by the sea this morning on my own…..bliss, before heading home. Wish we lived closer. There were a few heavy showers but it was mainly just grey.
