I went for my flu jab and it was beautifully sunny so I carried on from the doctors surgery to walk around my favourite place . I bought a cuppa….it’s only £1 and profits go into keeping the park nice. I sat watching a heron soaking up the sun for 1/2 hour before heading back. I walked the short route as I didn’t want to overdo it today.
As I was walking there a crocodile of about 20 teenagers with obvious special needs were out on a walk…..must have been from school. I moved to the side to let them pass and I suddenly heard ‘Hello Ann’ - a blast from the past……it was a young man I worked with the school before last….must be about 8 years since I last saw him before he moved school at 11. I’m amazed he remembered me and he literally passed me in seconds. Wish I’d have had chance to speak to him…..

I feel absolute rubbish today…..sore throat, achey joints and sneezing. I’m not sure if the flu jab I had yesterday. I always thought it wasn’t a live virus but just been reading up and there can be side effects…….hopefully it won’t last long. I’ve never had any problems before.
I’m planning a NSD today as I don’t intend to leave the house.
