I couldn’t look at my windows any longer and have cleaned the living room/dining room. It’s something I still really struggle with and have to use my left hand rather than my right  (cleaning the bath is also a problem still, but it’s the same action.) Anyway I had to sit once I’d done them and I want to do the kitchen window too. I’ve cleared behind the chairs the wool stash is taking over….just need to find a home for it now. Right I’d better get on. I think dh is working late again tonight so I’ll have some roasted veg and pork for tea and will sort him something later.

Lol I’ve been entertained all day by next doors kitten practising her balancing skills walking along the fence. Then she’d meow because she couldn’t get down so she’d be lifted down and get back up 5 minutes later. 😂😂😂🐱🐱😂😂😂 she’s been back and forth all day.

Lol the kitten has spent hours again today walking along my fence and has now ventured turning the corner to the fence at the back of her garden. 😂😂😂 I’ve never seen a cat spend so long on a fence. Her owners have made sure she can get down onto a garden tool box by leaving treats on it for her…..so she can get up and down but she’s just enjoying herself She stopped to play with a branch bowing in the wind and very nearly took a tumble 😂 Free entertainment for me 🐱🐱
We've had a very lazy day today. Dh was shattered after his busy couple of weeks working long days for 2 weeks instead of his usual 3 days a week.
2 NSDs in a row so I might make my July target after all 😄
The crochet blanket I’m making for a friend is coming along nicely. I didn’t really fancy doing it as I wanted to do more cardigans for the gks…..but it’s been very relaxing as I can do these without thinking about it…..and it’s been too hot to do much else.

That’s so fun! My cats are house cats, but I did have one girl who was a trapeze artist as a kitten. She would climb the curtains and tightrope walk across the iron bars of the four poster bed and balance on the top of doors. I need a kitten now!

I’d love a cat but they make me sneeze so I’m happy to be amused by the numerous cats that visit the garden 😃 They have been out in the garden with this kitten for weeks and she is only just beginning to venture further afield.

July totals - £297.30 🤔 looking a bit touch and go to stay within my £300 target. Money spent over the weekend on food, ice cream and anti histamine cream.
I and an unexpected day out yesterday at a local NT place. I think it’s the closest to my house and where the series The Mill was based and filmed. I love it there. It’s interesting in the buildings, but we stayed outside yesterday. Had ice cream in the gardens and went for a walk too. I think I fed half the insects there as I’ve had a massive bite on my thigh and the front of my ankle. My ankle has blown up like a balloon, bright red sore and itchy. I couldn’t get hold of the doctors so walked around to the chemist. She told me to try a different cream for 24 hours and if no improvement to get hold of the GP or out of hours doctor as I might need antibiotics……I’ve needed them several times after previous bites. So I’m currently sitting doused in cream with an ice pack and elevated foot…..oh and taken antihistamine tablets too 😏 Hope I poisoned the little bug🐛 🐜er.

I had a bite on my foot that turned really nasty a few years ago and needed really strong antibiotics and had to have my foot dressed by the nurse a few times. Hopefully you’ve nipped yours in the bud.

They’re awful aren’t they SA. My dd had one just at the side of her eye a couple of weeks ago - looked like she’d been punched….she had antibiotics. It was horrendous. Wonder if the very hot weather has brought more out than usual.
