Well done on the raffle and the weight loss @milann. Yes, your foot looks lots better thank goodness.
@RelievedSheff your doctor sounds awful. I've seen mine three times this year, been hospitalised once, had a cortisone injection in my knee (performed by my own gp) and I rang yesterday for my son at 2pm who had a phone consultation 90 minutes later and his prescribed medication was in my hands by 4:15pm.0 -
Pre covid they were really good and we could get appointments with them when needed. To be fair to them they have been great with the vaccination programme as well and have been running well ahead of the government schedule for different age groups.CRANKY40 said:Well done on the raffle and the weight loss @milann. Now though when you need them you just can't get them. Luckily it is nothing that is life or death serious and provided they keep sorting his medication out he will be fine. Hopefully things will start to settle down again before too long.1 -
That’s how mine used to be Cranky. They’ve merged with another surgery and it has gone down hill ever since
I spent £3.50 on heat spray for dh shoulder as he’s been having agro with it for ages and 50p on SW raffle. That takes me to this months target. There’s a pretty stupendous thunder storm happening overhead atm. Love it ⚡️💥⚡️💥January spends - £587.581 -
Ditto here. Mine has recently (just before covid) merged with 5 other surgeries. Levelling down seems like the most appropriate description. Trouble is that it is all the local surgeries so there is nowhere to transfer to! I am supposed to have an annual blood test & it will be 3 years in March.milann said:That’s how mine used to be Cranky. They’ve merged with another surgery and it has gone down hill ever since

We had that thunder storm too.....probably about 30 - 45 minutes before you did milann. My son had his gaming headset on and didn't hear a thing 🙄1

I had my last physio yesterday. He’s referring me for an exercise programme run by physios - that will be for 6 weeks once the referral comes through.
I had a phone call from a friends daughter who is up visiting her mum for the week and they are coming around over the weekend which will be lovely. So I’m going to do some baking later in readiness. It’s been a long time since I’ve had visitors. I do hope people don’t stop visiting after the lockdown where we’ve all got out of the habit.
We chanced a walk at the local NT place and dodged the showers but the were short staffed and shut the grounds at 4.30……just time for a short walk. It was cool and refreshing - the views from the park are amazing……you could see for miles even on a cloudy day….mountains of Wales in the distance, big city and the hills of Derbyshire. A camera wouldn’t do it justice. From there dh treated me to tea out - only w spoons but it was lovely….it felt normal and wasn’t busy so felt safe.
Dh has had to go in work today so I’m having a tidy up and baking day today.
