My hip has been quite sure this time….but I jumped a bit as it went in deep so maybe that’s why.
I emailed the lady I’d spoken to last week about the form needed to claim sick pay. She’d sent it out on Friday after I’d spoken to her and it’s been sitting in my junk mail 😜 I tried to retrieve it and read it and the computer decided at that moment that one of my drivers isn’t working so I’ll have to wait for dh to come in and sort it for me. I’m just pleased I’ve got an emergency fund.
Cant believe I’ll have been married 43 years tomorrow. It doesn’t seem 3 years since I surprised dh with a special train and weekend in York.
The weather is beautiful atm…..warm, sunny and just right. They’d promised rain - think it’s been pushed back to late afternoon. I should be out pottering as there are a few plants need deadheading but my get up and go has got up and gone.
I should have been at SlimmingWorld this morning but decided to rest my hip and pull back from all my entertaining and left over cakes from weekend.

I’ve just been onto the pensions people and they haven’t got any idea about the pension as they’ve had no notification from my employers. So I’ve phoned HR at work…..been passed from pillar to post with no answers. Anyway somebody called Hilary is supposed to be getting back to me in a couple of  days. We shall see….she thinks she needs to speak to my headteacher. I told her what the head teacher said via a message ‘ it’s out of their hands as all the relevant paperwork has been sent’ she wasn’t impressed with her attitude. Hilary thinks I’ll still need to see an independent doctor other than occupational health. Watch this space.
In the meantime I’ve opened the form from my employer saying my sick pay has finished but need to study and get a bit of help as to where to send it. It was mentioning Universal Credit. I don’t think I’ll qualify as I think it takes household monies and not just mine 😏

Yes, what beanie says up there. There is a limit on how long contribution based  is paid for (but I'm out of touch now so no idea), then you go to income based which as you say you may not be eligible for. Surely it won't take much longer to sort your pension out (fingers crossed).
