The chairs look fab even if I say so myself, they certainly look a sight better for their 15 years than the plastic weave set we got about 3 years back…..the table on the woven set has glass on top - the weave under the glass has all collapsed I’m presuming due to the sun magnifing the heat 😲 - the plan is for dh to cut a piece of plywood to cover it, which I’ll paint. But that won’t be today I think dh has a frozen shoulder and can hardly move it….he is his own worse enemy though - thinks he’s Superman and won’t take anything 😡
The mini greenhouse looks good on top of the table - we can store some of dh stones for the railway under the table and I can do a bit of potting on the table in front of the greenhouse. I want to paint it though before I use it. I need to try the woven chairs in the area of my shady nook before we decide exactly what we are doing- parasol or wooden roof 😃
We found a lovely place to walk yesterday - 20 minutes from home and I didn’t know if existed. It’s an old brickworks which has ponds and wild flowers and accessible path running through it. I’ve never seen so many dragon and damsel flies….this took us to an old railway line walk - I did know about this - known locally as The Muddlewood Way rather than Middlewood 😂 due to being very muddy 😳 we walked along and back by the canal. We usually drive past to get to the local NT place…..a great little find. I’m totally done in today though and won’t be doing much at all……We had a Chinese takeaway from a newly opened place up the road……I won’t be rushing back - twas ok but expensive and just about warm - it’s a 2 minute walk away and we collected it . They’ve spent months doing this place up - what a let down. The phones never stopped ringing though whilst I was waiting for it- doing a roaring trade.
Watched Buster last night……nothing like a bit of Phil Collins before nodding off for the night 😉 I’d forgotten how much I love that film 😃

Yesterday was spent recovering from my walk on Saturday. I’m still tired today but had a lovely surprise when a MSE friend came for a visit. We had a good chat and bite of lunch before she left. I’ve got some lovely flowers too 🌺🌺🌺
The fencing man came again and finished the last of the snagging jobs……hopefully that’ll be it. We’ve just got to get everything back in order outside now……mmmmm….not too sure how that will take with dh bad shoulder.
Dh has gone into work but I’m not sure how he’ll manage - he can hardly move his arm 😳
ive not got much planned this evening except slobbing in front of the tv and a very early night.

Oh that made me lol, the MSE friend got a free lunch 😁 that’s the way to do it (not in a Mr Punch voice).
I know it’s not that and you got lovely flowers, it’s just I have a bad sense of humour 🤣
I hope you have a lovely relaxing evening 🙃

Surprise visit sounds lovely. Glad the fencing snagging jobs are done, another thing off the list. Hope DH’s shoulder improves quickly.
