I’ve been sewing all afternoon- don’t know what’s got into me I have literally eaten all day....anything and everything. I sat in the garden pinning some of the bunting together and the ice cream man came. I’ve not seen one around here for years. Yup I went out and got one.....WHY when I’m supposed to be doing SlimmingWorld.....darent even begin to add the syns up. It ruined my NSD too 😒
Anyway I’ve blue tacked the bunting in the room and am pleased with it. It was tricky getting the spacing right...but the girls won’t be bothered with that. Next I want to paint an old mirror to put in there as the wall we used to have it on got knocked down when we did the alterations and it’s too nice to throw out. Getting there slowly but surely.January spends - £587.582 -

Just read a couple of weeks worth of your diary milann.Really enjoyed the dolls house/furniture chat and your finished 'human' chairs look great too!😀
Sorry to hear the builder has been a pain, but it's sounding like you're coming to the end of the road now.Exciting to read that you may be having the DGC to stay too!🥰Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks SG - you’re still awake after reading my ramblings? 😂😂 well done 👏👏
I’ve finished my bunting and have a bit spare for a friend, it’s a pity the room isn’t bigger to get a better effect but the girls will like it. Next job is paint the dolls house furniture and mirror, oh and put a couple of pictures on the wall - then the room will be finished. Although......I might make some accessories for the dolls house. I used to love doing things for dd when she was little. I remember she wanted a Barbie bed for her Barbie house and they were so expensive. I made one out of some polystyrene packing and made a pleated bed cover and matching bedding....best dressed piece of polystyrene around. She was thrilled with it and all her friends wanted to know where it was from 😂
It’s quite a strange feeling as it doesn’t feel like Easter.....I suppose it’s because I’ve not been in school - they used to do some lovely activities. Although a lot has changed by the sound of it. We used to get all the children eggs but that’s now classed as grooming....sometimes I think the world has gone mad. I can understand buying treats for 1 child could look suspicious but a little egg for each child in the class from the staff as a treat at the end of term ? 🤔🤔🤔January spends - £587.583 -
Really!!!! I have never heard the like. How sad

The world has indeed gone mad. I can understand why children have to be kept safe from harm but things have gone too far now. I bet you can’t wait for the girls to see the room, they’ll love it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
