You’re doing really well, you’ve come a long way since the op. You’ll get there just be patient. The catch up sounds lovely. I’m desperate to see my friends for a natter but unfortunately they don’t live locally, most are in different counties. Fingers crossed for the concert.

Thanks SA - I do know I’ve come a long way.....but sometimes I just forget how far I have come from when I was in hospital. I could just about manage the stairs when I came home and the nurses seemed to come out forever. I’m very patient in the early stages then I get to a point where I’m improving a lot and suddenly expect everything to be as it was pre op.....😏
My friend only lives a 5 minute walk away. We’ve been friends since we were 5. Grew up in the same street I moved to this area when I got married and she followed me a couple of years later. Sometimes we don’t see each other for ages but always pick up as if it were yesterday.

Boy it’s a deceiving day here - beautiful blue sky but it’s bitter cold. We had snow this morning but it didn’t last long.
Yesterday was ok....we had a video chat with gks who were very excited about Easter epggs and hearing the Easter Bunny 😂😂 then ds came around and we had a quick walk along the river whilst the lamb was cooking.  We had a play about with my iPad which is still playing silly devils and hasn’t accepted my email address I’d changed ages ago so I can’t get any new apps on it. Ds has his uses....might as well make him earn his dinner by being my technical advisor 😂😂👍Just waiting for an investigation to go ahead so that it’ll hopefully accept it.

We have snow again.....it’s not sticking but flakes are fluttering down.
I've had a fault in my hearing aid - crackling like an out front f tune radio. I’ve just phoned and got an appointment this afternoon 👍 so I’ll walk into town later and have a mooch in the shops that are open....big Tesco and Asda. Might need to get my hat and gloves out again.
A bit of a meh day yesterday- dh isn’t himself at all....very quiet. So we watched rubbish tv and had leftover lamb for tea.

I was watching tv this morning and Captain Tom Moore’s  family were on challenging people to do something with 100 in it to commemorate a year since Capt. Sir Tom started his challenge. Bake 100 cakes, a 100 star jumps, walk for 100 days or whatever takes your fancy..... This made me think. So I’m going to keep a log/diary for 100 days in a bid to get into good habits. I’ll  log food and exercise and I’ll put a little something in a pot each time I enter info and donate it to my favourite charity at the end of the 100 days. I’m notorious for starting diaries and not continuing. By the end of the 100 days I hope to be in target with my weight and able to send at least £50 to a charity that has helped me over the years....especially when the children were little. 😀 feeling motivated 👍

That sounds like a good idea Milann, it's turned cold here too and even snowed earlier, I went out with my scarf and gloves on 🙀
