I’ve just been to Sainsbobs for some PJs to send to the gks with their Easter egg. I bought myself 3 tops for £12 each which looked flared and long enough to cover my tummy area. They are slightly tighter than I’d have liked but the bigger size will be too big on my shoulders. So my incentive is to wear them without them looking tight around the middle- it’s the fatty love handles that are more of a problem than the stoma to be honest. I need stay on plan with SlimmingWorld. I need to keep the tops in sight to inspire me. Can’t wait for the swimming baths to open again. I’ll need to start again and work up slowly but I’ve really missed it. I did it last time I had the stoma so can do it again. I’ll feel a bit self conscious but want to look for a costume to disguise things.....I’ll just have to get over it as this is me from now on.
So it wasn’t a NSD - £65 and about the same yesterday in B&Q (I did take some paint back though yesterday so actually only spent £45) Need to get a grip with quite a few things me thinks. Spending and eating come straight to mind.
I’m quite excited as I might be having the gks for a few days in a childcare bubble. Dd can’t get anyone to have them for the 2nd week of their school holidays when she is working long days so I might be having them here. Nothing definite yet. I’m trying not to think about it until it happens as we’ve had so many let downs. Apparently youngest keeps saying ‘ please mummy just let me knock knock on Grandmas door....I promise I won’t go inside’ it’s heartbreaking 😥 the end is in sight 🤞

Funny how they manage to turn up on time when money is about to be paid!  An excellent reason to NEVER pay them up front.

I'm glad you treated yourself to some plants Milann as it hasn't been an easy year for you and gardens give so much pleasure.

I hope you like the new tops you got and find a swimming costume to disguise the stoma. Swimming is such a good exercise (not that I do it as I don't like getting my face or hair wet 😂 ). It would be lovely for you to look after the GKs during part of the Easter holidays so I hope it work out for you 🙂.

I'm lucky that we have a very reliable builder who always comes when he says he will. When he did our fence he did the whole job and then sent us an invoice afterwards. He only asks for money up front if it's a big job and he has expensive materials to pay for. I think you're wise to hold some money back until the work is finished.

    Have a lovely weekend 🙂.

Cheeky builder 🙄 I'm looking forward to the shops opening now because I could do with a couple of new tops, I definitely need some new bras because the wires have come out of my M&S ones so I won't be buying them again. I do have some non wired bras from M&S that are a lovely fit and really comfy but they don't look very nice so I only wear them within certain tops just in case you can see them 😀 I hate buying bras as I can never find anything that looks nice but that's also comfortable and a good fit. I also need some more trainers for work, I've managed to make mine last as long as possible but they are getting a small hole in the toe now, I have to remember to wear black socks so they blend in with the shoe 😂I've turned into a complete hobo over the last year, I've got holy shoes ,long out control hair, no makeup and feral eyebrows 😂😂 some retail therapy is sorely needed

I’m down to my last couple of bras - lost wires and the hooks and eyes are twisted. I want to try them on before I buy. I looked online for old familiar ones I’ve bought over and over through the years, as I know they’re ok - they weren’t there so I need a trip to the big M&S in the shopping mall not far away - my local one has shut. I bought a reusable net bag in Aldi I’ll wash the new ones in that - it was 50p for veg 👍
I’ve had a busy weekend pottering and not getting much done. We went to ds yesterday and dh did a couple of jobs for him whilst I sat and crocheted. Had a delicious paella and watched a film. Today I have been cutting material to make bunting. We’d ordered a light shade for the girls room with dangling hearts - I’d actually forgotten about it. When we checked t’internet it was a month ago so got onto the company and cancelled the order. We ordered a different one with butterflies on yesterday....it is now up in the bedroom 😀
Im doing the okey Kokey with my plants 😂 in-out, in-out it’s gone quite cold and my mini greenhouse isn’t up yet as waiting to have the flags levelled 😡
ive got a physio appointment at 9.30 in the morning. It’ll be a shock to my system being out and about of a morning 😂😂
I’m hoping to get my sewing machine out tomorrow to crack on with the bunting 👍 I haven’t used it for years so hoping it hasn’t seized up and in need of tlc

Sainsbury’s TU bras are really good for future reference. Prefer them to M&S and much cheaper.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
