I filled in the census a couple of weeks ago the day it came through the door. I didn’t realise you were meant to wait until nearer Sunday - oops 😬 Nothing’s changed since I filled it in though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I don’t think it matters SA - just says if anything changes since filling it in to let them know.
I’ve very nearly finished all the stitching on the chairs I’ve been doing forever. I had to stop for a rest as my arm was sore. I might give it another go to see if I can finish it completely tonight 😁
Then tomorrow I’ll probably get the dye out to sort the leather out 👍 Ds is coming tomorrow but I’ve got some pulled pork out of the freezer so only need to roast veg for the cous cous.I put a request on our local give away site for some Barbie clothes and I won the request. So a nice big bag of home made Barbie clothes to put with the dolls I keep here for the gks 👍 I’ve just put them in the washer....they’ve been played with but littlest one enjoys dressing and mainly undressing them 😂😂January spends - £587.581 -
Didn’t finish the chair. My arm was too sore.
Ds came yesterday and we went for a local walk along the river in the opposite direction to where we usually walk into town and back. It’s very sad seeing everything closed up and we were wondering just how many will reopen.
I’m very achey today so not a lot will be happening here. I’m expecting the builder who didn’t arrive on Friday to finish the pointing at 12 but haven’t heard from the plasterer who was letting me know if he’d be here last Friday or today.Tea will be left over veg cous cous and I’ll either make chicken or lamb kebabs to go with it.January spends - £587.582 -
Just wondered if anyone has a subscription to Readly. By the sounds of it you can access a lot of magazines- just wondered if it’s as good as it sounds?January spends - £587.582

He didn’t come yesterday but phoned and said he would be here first thing today and bring the man who is going to sort out some uneven flags for us to price up the job. I told him I had to go out at 10 this morning. He phoned this morning just after 9 and said he’d be 20 minutes 😁. I phoned him at 10 😡 He turned up at 10.30 without the flag man 😡 I made him a coffee and left him to it. I’ve been to ds house. The first time I’ve driven that far - about 25 minutes as I don’t use motorways. He is on holiday so we did a bit of food shopping and I spent a bit of time with just him 👍 it was dark when I came home so haven’t looked to see if the job was finished or not.January spends - £587.582

What a faff with the builders. From past experience they are reliable at the start of a job then get worse as it progresses. That’s usually the point where they’ve started taking on other jobs and doing bits to them.
I think it was Onebrokelady who had the Readily subscription. I believe you can get a free trial, might be worth giving it a try then cancel if you’re not keen.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
That was my conclusion too. They start jobs to secure them then realise they’ve too many and end up juggling. He hasn’t quite finished the pointing - I’ve tried to ring but no answer so I’ve no idea if the man sorting the flags has been or not 😡
Once I’ve finished my chairs and bunting I’m going for the free trial of readily as my reward 👍 If I like it I might subscribe.
I'm so tired today. I’m aching everywhere so they’re won’t be a lot happening here. I might just push the hoover over the floor later.

I had a free trial for Readily but I cancelled it because I was worried I would forget and end up paying 😀 I only actually read one magazine but once I got the hang of reading on a screen I thought it was ok, there seems to be a lot of choice too. I would highly recommend trying the free trial though because if you like it it certainly saves a lot of money when you consider how much actual magazines cost. At the moment I've got Kindle unlimited which also has magazines on it so Im having a look at that to see how it compares,I do use it for books but I'm not sure how many I'm getting yet and if it's worth the money, it's the same price as Readily so I might cancel it and use that instead 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941
