OBL that’s one of the things I asked the surgeon. As it’s the 2nd op I’ve had that’s removed part of my intestines I was quite concerned. He said the parts I’ve had removed absorb water, as it’s parts of the large intestine that was removed- had it have been the small intestine that would have been more problematic. I’m making sure  I drink plenty to compensate. But I suppose it could be connected.

Does the GKS library have an e-library, ours does.  It is awful if you are an avid reader & can't get your hands on a book although I much prefer an actual book that you can get your hands on but an "e" one is better than nothing.

Thanks Badmemory - I’m not sure whether they have an e library. I do know dd tries to limit screen time though. So whether they do and she’s not letting on to gdd - I don’t know. She is only just 7 and has always loved her books, but since the first  lockdown has really taken off and gets lost in the stories.  She loves listening to audio books too. Can’t keep up with her 😂😂
I didn’t know what I wanted from dh for Christmas so asked him to wait until I saw something to wear. I’ve just seen a lovely flared top with nicely fitting sleeves. Dh has just ordered it for me. It’s from a company based in Cornwall....i usually just have my nose glued to the window when we pass on holiday in Falmouth....Seasalt....I love the things I’ve seen but it always seems expensive. I’d rather gone to pick it up in person though rather than buying on t’internet. One day I’ll get back there 🌊☀️🌊

I get emails from Seasalt even though I’ve never bought anything from them. Wondering if it’s because I buy the odd thing from Boden and they’re similar-ish 🤔

I was like your GD and an avid reader. By the time I was 7 I’d finished every reading book in the school and the teachers were at a loss what to give me next, I was too quick for them 🤣 Still love reading, always got a book on the go.

There’s some incentive Beanie....wear your seasalt tunic again 🤞👍
Forgot to say my top was in the sale and there was an extra 20% off when he got to payment...I should have ordered different  one too 😂😂
We’ve emptied the bedroom except for the bed settee which will have to stay in there. The front spare room is literally filled to the gills. We can’t shut the door there’s so much stuff. I think dh got a shock when he realised just how much ‘junk’ or ‘stuff’ there was when it was piled up. Anyway he has agreed he will sort things and get rid of some....mmmmm.....I’ve heard that before. I pointed out he can have a roomful of junk or have it as his man cave with nice things he likes in there...including the old tv....we’ll see.
I picked a bit of wallpaper...I can’t resist. Anyway the top layer of paper has been removed from 3/4 of the room. We were both in there seeing who could pull the biggest piece off😂I won. It just came away easily. We need to strip the under layer though. Decorator is coming on Tuesday. He lives a couple of doors down so will come and go as he pleases. We won’t be in the same room and I’ll give him a key. He nips home to see to his dog and for a drink so I won’t even have to give him see him for a drink. I’ll get the paper tomorrow when I go to B&M for milk and bread so being as COVID aware as possible 👍

Step away from Boden.  Just step away.

My favourite make/brand is mudd & water but sadly they seem to be a victim of COVID  :(
