Boden are expensive but they have sales and discounts almost constantly. Their clothes last a long time too, really good quality. They also have an eBay shop where you can buy things a whole lot cheaper. If you like a brand always check if they have an eBay shop. A couple of years ago I saw a handbag I liked in Joules for £50. Got the same bag for £25 from their eBay shop.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

            Thanks for the tip SA.
I did zoom sw this morning. I’m not overly keen but feel as if I touch base with people. I need to do some shopping but decided to wait until later when hopefully it’ll be quieter. I need to go in either Morrison’s or Aldi - whichever is the quieter and nip into B & M hopefully that’ll mean I won’t need to go to the shops for the rest of the week. It’s raining here again so it doesn’t entice me out for a walk.....So we pulled the wii fit out and dh and I have spent the last hour or so having a lot of fun trying to outdo each other 😂😂 Nothing like a bit of healthy competition 😂😂 I have made myself a new character as I know I’m not as fit as last time I used it. I can see how I improve from now on 👍 I’m aiming for half an hour a day 🤞👍
Tea will be some of the Persian chicken and walnut stew dh made a while ago from the freezer. Its not particularly sw friendly but just about within my allowance and it’s very delicious 👍January spends - £587.581 -

We have a Seasalt shop here which I love but never buy anything from because it's too expensive, they have lovely clothes thoughmilann said:Thanks Badmemory - I’m not sure whether they have an e library. I do know dd tries to limit screen time though. So whether they do and she’s not letting on to gdd - I don’t know. She is only just 7 and has always loved her books, but since the first lockdown has really taken off and gets lost in the stories. She loves listening to audio books too. Can’t keep up with her 😂😂
I didn’t know what I wanted from dh for Christmas so asked him to wait until I saw something to wear. I’ve just seen a lovely flared top with nicely fitting sleeves. Dh has just ordered it for me. It’s from a company based in Cornwall....i usually just have my nose glued to the window when we pass on holiday in Falmouth....Seasalt....I love the things I’ve seen but it always seems expensive. I’d rather gone to pick it up in person though rather than buying on t’internet. One day I’ll get back there 🌊☀️🌊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8941 -

OBL by the time we’d had the sale reductions taken off the top was £29 which I didn’t think was bad at all 😄 I’ve been on the look of for ages for one which is flared, long enough the cover my tummy area properly but not with clumpy sleeves and shoulders as I’m quite small around my shoulders.January spends - £587.581

I like Seasalt and Boden and their clothes are good quality and will last for years. I do try and get them in the sale though.
It's a good idea to use the wii fit if the weather doesn't tempt you out

Another lazy day - we did a zoom quiz with the gks which was lovely. We had a late breakfast of bacon butties in bed watching gardening programmes and a late dinner early tea - roast chicken dinner 😋.
We’ve been stripping some of the bedroom today. I pulled the easy bits off and let dh do the harder scraping. The plaster is really grotty but I really don’t want the upheaval of having it plastered. I’m hoping the lining paper does the trick....if not I’ll get a blown vinyl paper over the top which will be fine. It’s a spare room and I’ll just be happy that it’s been cleaned up 😄 I need some soft sheen paint but couldn’t get any in B&M when I went for the paper yesterday. If I can’t get any vinyl silk will do 👍January spends - £587.581 -
If it’s just the spare room I wouldn’t give yourself any more work than you have to1
