We have the cheque....ok... technically it’s not mine but belongs to dh.....but what’s the saying.....what’s yours is mine 😂😂😂
Its all a bit bittersweet.... it’s now 4 years and 2 months since she died....there’s been so much heartache involved in it all. Not a life changing amount but will be a nice holiday when we can travel again. In all honesty I’d rather have seen her enjoy it. She once had a lovely gentleman friend who wanted to take her to New Zealand to travel and meet some of his family.....she was too proud to let him pay but wouldn’t use her own money 🤔🙄😱so didn’t go. And she was fit and healthy then.....Just shows life’s too short.....even though she lived to 92January spends - £587.583 -
Sounds like today was a good one. Glad everything went well at the hospital and the inheritance is finally in it’s rightful place 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I was going to post a picture of my kitchen but my iPad needs updating and my photos aren’t going through to it. I won’t put MSE on my phone as I’d be totally addicted🤔🥺😂 So I’ll get my technical advisors on the job to see why my photos aren’t going through then once it’s sorted I will post a picture of my kitchen and maybe even my Christmas tree.....if I ever get around to putting it up 🎄🙄👍
Another NSD yesterday...this staying in and isolating is good for my bank balance.
I’ve just had a phone consultation with the GP.....she was lovely and I felt I had more time than a rushed surgery consultation.
I made a good headway getting things into cupboards yesterday. I need dh to move some heavy boxes that are in the middle of the room so that I can get to some things I’d put on shelving at the edge of the room but can’t get to cos of boxes.
I spoke to a rl MSE friend yesterday which was lovelyJanuary spends - £587.581 -
I’ve got some little aluminium steps for my kitchen which I’ve had a long time and used to be in a cupboard......since my new steps will be on display I quite fancied a wooden set which I can paint and customise a bit. We’d bought a set from IKEA for £35 but we realised they don’t fold flat enough.....so I’ve been surfing on line for the last half hour or so.....how to waste a good afternoon 😳🤪 I found a perfect pair....over £400. WHO would pay this price for something like that. It’s half a dozen pieces of wood and a couple of hinges. Yes I know there’s been time spent designing and making the product.....I couldn’t believe it 😳😳£400+ I’d want gold plate for that 😏January spends - £587.582
