With the rooms being a totally different orientation now we’ve had the work done. I have no idea where to put my tree 😳🎄😳 I might have to buy a smaller one to put on a table. We usually have lights in the back garden but we had new fences in the summer and need some cup hooks to put back in the fences to hang them on....we’ve bought some but not got a clue where they are with all the disruption. Think dh will have to go out and buy some more so we can at least make the back garden festive.January spends - £587.582

There will be ways around fitting things in the cupboards SSG....just annoying when the things won’t fit where I’d visualised. You’d think they’d have made the cupboards that bit bigger - it wasn’t much out. Just shows how generally plates and dishes are getting bigger - no wonder a lot of us are putting weight on as we pile our big plates higher.....speaking for myself here by the way 😏😂😂😱January spends - £587.582

I have a side plate OBL which is the same size as the dinner plate from an old service. The rims are wider on the newer plates though. Most of the food has now found a home. I didn’t get around to homing the glasses but I have a space ready for them. The builder was here until 3 pm so I had to isolate in the bedroom. It took me over an hour filling a questionnaire in for the hospital tomorrow and I’ve already filled one of them in for a previous visit....seems a bit of a waste of time when they could pull the old notes out.January spends - £587.582

When my kitchen was first done I had that much space, some of the cupboards were empty. Didn’t take me long to fill them though 😂 Hope tomorrow goes well 🤞

I was home at half 11. I went straight in for BP tests and questionnaire then waited about 5 minutes before they called me into theatre. I watched it on the x ray screen. It was quite uncomfortable at times but over in less than 10 minutes. Back in for more BP checks and VOILA I was ready for coming home. The builder has finished - down to us now to finish it off by bringing everything downstairs and finding a home for things. Oh and need my painter friend to finish a few bits.
