It is indeed awful about the poor guy.  I wonder if he was trying to get as many hours in as he could before he had an appointment?   I think most of us have been there when families need feeding & housing even if we are ill!

When I had my bathroom done I bought a commode.  It amazed me how cheap it was, worth every penny, it is now in the loft awaiting me finally pulling my finger out & getting the kitchen done.  Over 5 years & counting.

The electrician has been and has finished and been paid 👍 Boss builder is coming and doing a bit more to kitchen wall units tomorrow. They seem much higher than my last ones......I think dh put them a little lower so that I could reach them when he fitted the last kitchen and we’d forgotten about it this time.......I’ll just have to be careful what I put on anything except the bottom shelf 😂😂😂😂 either that or have a ladder hidden somewhere.......
When I ventured downstairs the muddy footprints had been cleaned and the electrician who left them was full of apologies.....in fairness he’s the only one who usually took his shoes off.

I’ve got a little plastic step that I use to reach the top shelves. The stuff I use regularly is on a lower shelf.

Think I’ll need a full set of stepladders 😂😂😂😂 I actually have a mini stepladder with 3 steps - just need to find somewhere to squirrel it away out of site. I used to have it in my pantry which no longer exists and is in the utility space now.

Me too!  I still can't reach the top shelf & the cupboards were put in as low as practical.  I now have problems with the bottom cupboards, no problem with the bending but a problem bending & then reaching in (twisting).  I now have trays that I can slide in and out to access.  But it does lead to me leaving a lot more out than I really would like & quite a lot of cupboard space unused/unusable.  One of the joys of no longer being under 70.  But as the saying goes much better than the alternative!
