  • Well done your builder for finding some vinyl 😊I still can't taste anything so my eating is very erratic at the moment,I can't wait for my sense of taste and smell to get back to normal

Hope you get back to normal soon OBL.
For some of the time the microwave ended up behind some stuff and we couldn’t get to it....typically the men did this......don’t think beyond where something will fit there and whether we might need it.
Anyway we now have vinyl in the utility room.....think that’s what we need to call it as it isn’t a bathroom- no bath 😳 the washer and drier are now  in there and old worktop above them.....but I’m not sure they’re plumbed in.
Some base units are fastened in the kitchen but no doors yet. Labourer has been here all day but the builder vanished at dinner time - said he’d see us in half an hour but no sign yet....it’s been a long half hour 🙄
    Let’s see what tomorrow brings......
I can do something from the freezer with rice - so tea should be on plan 👍

So yesterday was the worst day of the build. We had no water for best part of the day and no loo for some of it whilst they were sorting the downstairs loo out. We now have 2 working toilets though. We have no sink downstairs so every time we want to fill the kettle we have to run upstairs to the bathroom. The end is in site now thogu
